If Cam Newton is our QB, I don't consider 2020 a rebuilding year regardless of holes elsewhere.  I'm more excited for seeing #1 under center next year then I have been in a while.  Lets go!

It's one thing to say he wants him here. But he was specifically asked if cam would be the starter if healthy and didn't answer that question. That says a lot to me based on the current state of the quarterbacks on our roster

There's a lot of "I want", "I hope", "I'm planning", "I look forward to", "I can't say at this time", etc etc. Not a huge shock. Saying positive things but still leaving all his options open.

Declining to name him as a starter was a little clumsy, but you can understand it.
