Igo believes it's arthritic.

Has it been reported anywhere else?

I’ve seen rumblings about this, but I’m looking for some deeper reporting on it if possible.

EDIT: I’m looking at pro football doc’s San Diego Tribune piece. He talks about it a little bit too. Always a possibility. That’s why I don’t put his career past 35, to be honest. But I really don’t know much more than anybody else right now. Seems like the shoulder has a few good years left, but something to keep an eye on.

He was slinging it pretty good before the foot.

His shoulder still wasnt 100% at the start of the season.  But now we are to believe it is?  Even though he hasnt practiced in a while?  Mind you he said this last month.   There was a thread on here about it.

Sorry to keep you waiting, my real job got in the way.

So the real job is making up nonsense and annoying other posters here. Got it.

Their commitment to Rothlisberger has been steadfast for a long time. And he’s dealt with a lot of injuries. Stuck with him through a motorcycle accident. Stuck with him through some personal drama. He produced. That’s the bottom line.

Right now, the contracts are different. Saving 19 million when you’re guaranteed nothing in return doesn’t seem like a smart idea. Unless you’re working under the assumption that he won’t produce at a high-level for the next five years.

Maybe that’s where I disagree with some.

My question to you, is how on Earth you can EXPECT that?

What proof do you have that it's going to happen, or even could happen?

I tend to follow trends, and while sometimes you will be wrong, more often than not you will be right.  Cam has proven to us that he cannot stay healthy at this point in his career, and we have done jack squat to make his stay here any easier.

We have a bottom 5 O line, and now a poor defense to boot....so not only is he going to be walking into the lions den, he's going to have to produce at a 2015 or above level for us to even have a shot at 8-8.

Yes, this arthritic condition has been mentioned a few times....it's what has me so nervous.  The foot is a non issue, had Cam elected for surgery early in the season, ALL of this would be different right now....everything, instead this is where we are.

The shoulder however, is a different bird.  Cam can still unleash a fastball here and there, but it's the consistency in which he can make those throws, and his accuracy when attempting them is another story.  His arm seems to look OK during TC, and then tails off as the season progresses.

The deep field throws that were so prevalent early in Cam's career seem to have gone the way of the Dodo.

You can make good football decisions without pissing off your fans no? They aren't mutually exclusive.

Ask George Shinn how being out of touch with fans went in Charlotte.

And I revisit Narwocki because it speaks to your "GPS" that you so patronizingly claim to have that others don't.

Despite numerous people telling you that Narwocki's report was "bullsh*t" you chose to defend it, Narwocki, and in turn use that report to bolster your resistance against drafting Cam Newton.

So... yeah forgive me if I don't immediately defer to your "GPS" of what is "good" and "bad" reporting

Where did he claim that others don't have a GPS?

And, if you have to go back a decade to find an example of a mistake in someone's GPS, that means they do a pretty good job with that GPS.

Name me a receiver in 2017 who Cam was going to find deep
