Carolina sticking with Cam

No. He predicted the guys that we actually took, well ahead of time, in each of the first three rounds. He also had a midstream adjustment in round one because the draft didn't fall quite like the Panthers thought it would. He also predicted each of the recent news items we've had with Newton well before online sources had them.

It was no secret that Burns and Little were high on the Panthers board, though.  They were two of the most common names being mocked to us already.  Months before the draft, Burns was being slotted to Carolina in the "too early" drafts.   Little was as well, in the first round.

So, not really impressed if someone "predicted" Carolina doing something everyone thought they were going to do.

Hey, all I am saying is that a person posting in the paid area of the boards..who apparently has a connection no one else in the world had.  Is pretty nifty.

Too bad this information wasn't shown literally anywhere else.

And there's a reason for that :)

Right, and I'm sure all the other stuff he happened to predict correctly was just lucky guesses too.

Apparently, he's amazingly good at guessing future events... specifically.

Anybody who has All Pro can tell you he's plenty reliable.

You and others in here routinely criticize Hurney for telegraphing his draft picks and being fixated on his "favorites" during the predraft process, and now you're singing the praises of someone who correctly predicted some draft picks last year?  Weird.

I mean, maybe. Burrow probably has a definite ceiling and Tua has huge injury flags. We will see. Maybe Herbert or Love are really the guys? Maybe Fromm or Eason?

How comfortable would you be with those choices?

Rumor has it the Panthers think next year's QB class is superior to this year's.

True? No idea, but they wouldn't be the only ones to say that.

Expect the unexpected. We simply have no idea with a college coaching staff, a new owner and Marty Hurney advising them.

Actually, our own inside source had already said this several days ago in All Pro, but also added "for now" and that the situation is still fluid.

The usual standard employed here is the sources are trustworthy as long as they are saying what you want to hear.

It's not uncommon to see the same people call a source reliable or lousy depending on what they're saying. It's dumb, but it happens a lot.

its funny cause you were one of the loudest ones saying cam was gone.

I mean, I am really not that comfortable with any of the choices from this year's draft, TBH.

I think it just depends on who you like as an evaluator and where they fall. I'd say anything outside the first round and we can expect that Hurney will have no clue.
