With the depth of this WR class it would be a terrible year to try to trade a WR. I'd rather see what he can do in Brady's system than ship him off for what we could likely get for him right now. I don't think it would be a 3rd.

Fair point, wishful thinking on my part.

Man, I find the amount of turnover on the team and staff this offseason to actually be quite entertaining.  Maybe I'm falling back into a casual fan mode but I'm just a lot more emotionless regarding the team now.  Most of the guys from Fox/early Rivera are gone now and it just seems so clean slate.  Really interested to see how they build this thing.

Kind of feels like we will go all in on the top 2 QB's. New staff, new vision, new leader.

Get ready boys Burrow or Tua will be our new franchise QB.

Sad to see Cam leave, but he deserves better than we can offer now. Wish him nothing but the best and will be a fan of his new team.

Don’t assume we aren’t shooting for a QB next year. Tua is an injury risk and Burrow was a 23 year old one year wonder.

Without looking at cap implications, turner should be on the block, I wouldn’t let go of anyone else on offense unless they’re done with paradis.

defense, we don’t have much but kk and Jackson, in which trading kk is cap suicide and trading Jackson isn’t feasible imo. Reid if you can snag a 3rd or 4th maybe, maybe but eh

Do not rule out Herbert.

No, you better hope that golden horseshoe is firmly lodged up Hurney's ass because it's coming.  You know it and all God's children know it, prepare thy anus.

I, for one, have prepared my anus.  I started doing so when we re-hired Hurney.

I think Herbert drops to us.  I don't think we take him though. I really think we trade back. Multiple times.

From what Rhule has historically done, he doesn't go for guys who have the most talent. He wants to know they will follow "the process", his way.  So we may trade down for guys who will follow, fall in line.

I really think Love is our target after a trade down. Hopefully with a BUNCH of line picks.

Trading or releasing Short isn’t cap suicide at all. He’s a $20M cap hit this year ($6M dead cap) with an $11M dead cap charge in 2021 if we get rid of him after 2020. Release or trade and he’s a $17M dead cap hit this year and nothing else. We still save $14M in cap space by not having him on the team in 2020.

No matter what you do, we have $17M of cap space that is dead and will hit our cap at some point. Keeping Short in 2020 means an additional $14M in cap space wasted on a guy who isn’t worth $14M.
