Ahhh good old days. Is it just me or was smith a lot faster in those days? I know he had less weight so maybe that is a factor. Who knows, I really wish he got the ball in his hands more this year so we could see him play...

nah he got faster after he broke his leg, but now it's hard to tell cause we rarely get him the ball in open space.

Its hard to tell if Smith has declined. I think our QB struggles are not only screwing with his numbers but I think it mentally frustrates him, affecting his game. I don't think he could drop off so fast. He has not had an injury to slow him down like that(knock on wood).

And you have to consider the fact that he practically has no help. Potentially we do but we aren't very creative in finding ways to do so.
