Why we should draft OT

It's fine. This year will be different and guys who played poorly last year will be better just because and the injured will be healthy...just kidding.

We should build a better Oline but im not holding my breath with how things are looking. By keeping Marty we have estitially tanked this offseason, again, which means Little & Paradis are likely the answer even if it's a bad answer. These coaches better work magic because they are going to need it. At this point, I'm hoping Moton hits the next level and Tre can look close to what he was pre-contract. Those two seem realistic, the rest I will belive once they do something positive.

this year is a golden opportunity to get a left tackle.  And by doing so, we solve 2 big problems on the offensive line.  Greg moves inside, and our new LT, who would be higher rated that Greg coming out, now gives us a damn good line if Paradis can return to form.

Won't happen.  Marty will give Greg a chance for a healthy year,  Rhule has said he wants to fix the defense first.

Hurneyball.

I think it mostly depends on FA. I would try to address both LT and DT via FA. If you're counting on the draft to cover a known area of weakness, then you're doing it wrong.

Not to say I wouldn't draft a LT too, but would want to attack at multiple angles. LT is too important at this point to toy around with it. We can't keep a QB healthy primarily because of that position. Time to take off the kiddie gloves and get serious. I prefer the idea of a short term solution (vet on a 1 or 2 year deal) with multiple long term solutions in the mix (draft, Little, Daley).

I don’t really think shifting Little inside creates a good G. Seen that mentioned a bunch but I don’t think he’s got that strength and run blocking ability.

Should have taken McCoy and Evans instead of Little and then gotten a much better tackle this year. The best case scenario is that Little becomes what Marty imagined. I know his projects never work out well and his picks are usually only good if he’s picking amongst the top 2 or 3 at a position, but it’s still best for us if Little works out. Especially if at 7 we can get one of the true studs in the draft like Brown or Okudah.

I agree. I don't think Little would be better suited at Guard either. If anything, he's an OT. First he has to stay on the field long enough to develop.

Dont see why everyone is so quick to push Little inside.

Moton is hitting FA next year.  Little reminds me some of Ryan Ramczyk, who was a LT in college drafted end of the 1st.  They kept their LT and pushed him to RT, where he's become one of the leagues best RT's

Oh and by the way, the RT's spot he took.  Was former 1st rounder Peat, who people said would be a better OG than OT coming out but started out as a solid RT (sound familiar........Moton)

One of CMC, Samuel, Moore, Jeudy, will be open very quickly, not to mention Thomas.

We're going to turn Cam into a throw the ball in 2 seconds and let your skill position players do the work. Then when teams creep up to stop the short stuff, boom, deep.

Can't throw deep, he'll get sacked because you have no offensive line.

This might be the deepest and best group of WR talent to ever be in a single NFL draft. Going WR would be a huge mistake. If Brown isn't there, you absolutely have to think long and hard at OT because we haven't had a starting caliber LT on this team since Gross retired.
