Ive looked at the roster too much and its impossible for the panthers to fill all the needs this year. Id much prefer to trade back, since they need roughly 20 players. No chance a Marty Herniay draft will hit on all 7, most times its only 1 starter and 1 depth. I feel its a near must to come away with 2 DL and 2 OL this draft. May have to wait on C, Paradis can get better. Im not ready to cut him, still understand the need for a young C.  This is larsons last year too.

  No. We will sign 10 XFL players instead. Don’t worry that they washed out of the league already. 
 

   The Saints got as much out of their UDFAs last year as we did our whole draft.

Michigan center Cesar Ruiz said he had a formal interview with the Panthers, who need depth at the position. That Ruiz can play center and guard is a plus. Carolina has Matt Paradis, signed to a three-year, $27 million deal as a free agent last offseason, as the starting center. He'll count $8.8 million against the cap this season, but the team has a potential out in 2021 with a $10,330,000 cap figure.

  That potential out in 2021 involves a 5.4M dead cap hit.  Even if he plays out his whole contract, Hurney put 2 dummy years at the end where we eat 3.6M even after he’s gone. This is to the point they should probably consider eating 7.2M now rather than give him 7M this year when it only takes 1.8M off the guaranteed money.. Take the hit now and save the cash. That 7.2 M is already in his pocket.
