Coverage/field general type LBs are devalued in today's NFL. We need to wake up and realize that and stop throwing so many resources at the position. We gave Shaq a big money contract, gotta look elsewhere at #7. One big money deal plus a #7 overall pick is just too much investment at the position, especially when our trenches are a disaster on both sides of the ball and there will almost certainly be some very good options to address that at #7.

I agree, but players like Simmons are hard to find and there are a bunch of quality DT's in free agency. Drafting Simmons and signing Javon Hargrave and Leonard Williams would fix the issue.

And there are a couple real good DT’s like Madibuke  or Blacklock that could be there in RD 2.

In this case Id teleport to commish and take Young, seems you forget him! 3 QBs(i agree Love maybe here too) and Young are a near lock to be picked before 7. That leaves a guaranteed one form Simmons/Brown/Okudah, hot dam gimme THAT! Even if thats not your flavor, you can either pick the first OT/WR in the whole draft. 7 is a GREAT spot. I feel theres very little difference form 4-12, talent wise . The top 3 OT and top 3 WR are very close, imo.

If that happens I'm not taking him at 7. I would just take Jeudy.

I told folks that Marty aint admitting guilt and drafting a T---I heard that RR had to talk him into drafting Cam (I heard he liked someone like Dareus) the year after Jimmy C stormed the league.
