Keeping an eye on hurts. I know the wrs are going to blow up the combine, than I’ll be keep an eye on the dbs as always

Well he was pretty bad at the Senior Bowl. He is going to have to really turn that around if he doesn't want to be a late round pick.

when he got a chance to be washington's primary rb (for the first time), ran for 1,000 yards on 5.4 ypc. good vision, and could be a backup for cmc alongside our returnman, something which we have needed forever now. very fast too, runs like a 4.3. i'd be very happy to see us take him with a lateround pick as he could fill our need for a capable punt/kick returner and as a guy to maybe take some strain off of CMC since he averaged 8 billion touches per game last year.

i also really like markus bailey (LB, purdue) as a potential mid round pick for us.

I would add Ezra Cleveland (OT Boise St) to the list--but I like the OT suggestions.

Blacklock and Gallimore--I feel one of these dudes is our second round selection (Because I think we are going with Simmons in the first---I just think Simmons fills a need (Luke) and is as versatile as Luke was.  However, their stock has been rising--now I am thinking late first for both--but 40 players (first round grades) can't go in the first round--I have done the math--8, it seems, will go later.  (The more you know...)

I am not a Love fan--which is a good sign from him. Same ole criticism--he does not see the field well.

About Fromm--weakish to average arm--good leader.  Stock way down.  Perfect guy for Brady to mold if you want a game manager type, but he is not going to be the next Brady.  (See I used 2 Bradys in same sentence.  Bonus Brady)'

Herbert:  Not on your list---will be gone by #7--but that is before free agency.

You are right-bad TE class.  I would not use a pick on one...TE is something I address in free agency.

I think this is a good Center class-bad guard class--excellent tackle class.  Your Temple C is a nice catch.  That could happen--but there are probably 5-7 centers in this draft that could start early in their contracts.

You did not get into the best class in this draft--WR.  I would not be surprised to see us go in the third/fourth round. Too many to list, but there are all kinds.  My "sleeper? Kentucky's Lynn Bowden Jr.

I've seen a couple mocks that have us trading back up into the 1st to get Love. I hope not because I think Brady might actually know how to use Cam if given the chance.

That would be Rosen-esque because I could see that being a wasted pick that we then trade away because he’s so overrated that we get pick 1 in 2021.

If we pick Love it would be an awful pick and a ridiculous reach IMHO. Taking the 4th or 5th best QB at 7? Mahomes went 10 and Watson went 12 as QB 2 and 3. Taking Love would be akin to taking Deshone Kizer.

In 2018, Josh Rosen was QB 4 at 10. This would be an instant replay.

I'm looking forward to the OTs.  I feel that this class isn't superb, but we need one.  So if we do go elsewhere at #7, then would it be worth spending a pick on another project?  Also DBs, both safeties and corners.  I'm at little behind evaluating corners because I was pretty sure Bradberry would return.  Now, not so much, so I need to catch up on the CB class.  This may be the year we take a safety in the second or a legit safety in the the third round.  Gaulden I think was drafted to be play the "big nickle", but a pure safety would be a nice re-do there.  Lastly, the mid-to-late round talent at WR, TE, LB and DL...even QB.  I know, I know 'late round DL???'  I see us double dipping here, so this would be the other pick on the DL.

I know Brady will push for one of his receivers in the 2nd, but I think Mims might be there for our third, and he's got the Rhule connection.

WR is a luxury pick, all things considered.  If our defense is still getting gashed, a WR isn't the chess piece we really need.  I don't see see our offense winning us ballgames regularly (see bailing out the defense) even with solid WR contribution.

Great post.  Nothing left to say about my feelings---I am not keen on Herbert at #3, but I would understand it.  Love?  To me he is a second rounder.

I think the OT class is not superb at the top, but it is later.  Wills is a road-grading beast, Wirf is a gifted, versatile athlete, and Thomas has a lot of experience at LT.   Becton has a lot of teams thinking "Ogden".  I am guessing they go round 1.

But to me, the value is in the OTs in the second round-all OTs are developmental, so find a T to compete with Daley and Little, there are some day 2 options.  That is not what people (like me) want to hear, but looking at the big picture, I think I have a good idea what we need to do--and LOT is not the biggest priority since we have 2 players with experience and potential there who were rookies last season.

The MLB is the QB of the defense.  We asked Luke to cover the seam, and he did.  We asked him to go from sideline to sideline (which is why he was better in the 4-3 sets) and he did.  We needed a smart defensive QB to move DL and call out offensive tendencies.   This person does not exist in free agency.  This person (at least someone who can check most of these boxes) does exist in the draft.  Simmons.

We need 4 DTs once we cut Poe.  FOUR.  If we take a LB in the first round, a DT has to be the second round pick.  This is where the Cam trade might help-it would give us at least a second rounder to find a CB (we are probably not re-signing Bradberry)  or a DT.

From this perspective, I do not see a T until round 3--and I think we need a C and LG worse.

So many needs.

Then that player Hopefully becomes a tradable commodity.. Rosen did get Arizona 2 picks.  If the guy shows anything in the "tank" season.. We might get more.. It's not a bad strategy..

Rounds 3 or 4 is where I have been mocking my  OTs here lately, if any at all.  Remember value is the word, so there's a possibility the board doesn't fall to us and could realistically miss out on a tackle altogether rather than reaching.  No matter how it shakes out, every mock I'm doing is defense heavy.  Assuming our picks are still the same at the end of the draft as they are now, 4 or 5 of the 7 picks are on the defensive side of the ball.

Any good Baylor or Temple standouts to keep an eye out for?

See the bottom of my OP.  Included a few.

James Lynch could be a pretty interesting one especially given we're bringing in not just Rhule but also Snow.

I purposely left the top tier guys as they're already going to be under an obvious microscope headed into the combine.  These are the guys invited I'm liking for us or should be generating more buzz.
