Meanwhile: here’s Pittsburgh teasing the return of their soon-to-be 38 year old QB, as Rapsheet serves as the official hype-man.

THEY value HAVING a franchise QB. This guy has been injured every other year it seems.

Our fans dream of an abyss. The same abyss we were in without Cam or Jake. They don't value stability, only what's behind door #2.

I blame fantasy football.

People need to quit crying. He wants nothing more than for us to win a championship and in order to do that we had to tear it down to build it back up. Almost everyone was crying for a total change 3/4 of the way through last season and now that it’s here many just want to complain. I guess we should have stuck with the same vets for the next 4 years and stay between 6-10 and 9-7 to make you happy because it makes you feel warm and fuzzy that they have played with us for a while. Remember after Jimmy the Pickle year we got Cam, and it was a few years until we were competing again (but watching the build and growth was fun). That same thing will happen but at least now it will be exciting to watch our team grow into hopefully a championship caliber program. Give the team a chance it definitely won’t happen this season but we can build something special in a couple seasons, and hopefully see great progress as we are building it back up.

Bravo !! You stated the facts very well and i think that most rational people will agree with your well written statements.

This is probably the best summary of this I’ve ever seen. I’m not sure how many of these people have watched every game over even the last decade or how many of them really know what it’s like to be 2-14, but it’s not fun.

Damn right we do. It was 20 years between Bradshaw and Ben. And the high point was watching Neil O’Donnel look like he was throwing the Super Bowl.

But when you pass on Dan Marino like the Steelers did, we got what we deserved. And my broken TV was even more evidence.

The next QB could be anyone! It could be even be the next Cam!
