People may bail but they'll show back up whenever we start looking remotely good again.  The story of every Franchise in transition, we arent the first franchise to do it and we wont be the last.

I agree in theroy. Tepper is the wild card there. Add in the new stadium negotiations and it's possible.

Maybe,  not sure what Tepper is doing right now that has so many people spooked.  He laid out exactly what he wanted to do when Ron got canned and has stuck to it pretty well.  Invested in support staff, found a coach who shared his vision, and started to rebuild the team that he wants to own.  Its going to take me a lot longer than three months to get to "fans are leaving, team is moving".

His expert in the room is Hurney. That is a known failure right there. He has been fast and lose with the media creating confusion. He handled the PSL seats he took very poorly, notifing them that it was done after pictures were posted. He has already given 2 losing years and said it may take 5 more. He signed a rookie HC and didn't suround him with any expereince. He asked to interview Berry and got denied and then turned around a hired a guy from Baylor who looks to be better suited as an assistant.

As far as the moving thing and being an outhouse of a team, that was discussed as a fear when we were looking at a new owner. It's not new, it's what i would think most don't want to happen. No one wanted a Snyder but we might have one.

Most the signs show Hurney is likely gone or reassigned after the draft, i'll let that play out and make a judgement later.  Sean Padden isnt taking the job Berry interviewed for, its clear Teppers plan to be able to jump the interview process didnt work like he wanted which is a fair criticism.

The media goofs are nothing that illustrates hes meddling, just shows a lack of experience as an owner which shouldnt be suprising to anyone.  The confusion they caused has been mostly from the fans that refuse to believe Cam could be shopped, everyone else took it exactly for what it was.

The last 2 losing years already illustrated how hes not a Snyder or a Jones.  He wanted to be patient and figure out what exactly he wanted out of the franchise before moving.  Now he has moved and laid out his vision and has aggressively hired people that fit that vision to a T.  When we hired Rhule you should have expected the Baylor guys, he turned down the Jets job last year because they wouldnt let him hire the staff he wanted.  This again illustrates how Tepper isnt "meddling" do you think Jones would ever trust a coach enough to hire this staff?

And finally you dont build as much sporting infrastructure in the Carolinas as he is and then pick up and move the team because the fans are grumpy you arent winning,  Charlottes government has already proven it'll bend over backwards to give him what he wants and he's proven hes not scared to spend some of his own money to get it.

Its a shame people cant be more patient and let things play out.  I've got no idea if its gonna work all I know is its basically exactly what Tepper laid out to us earlier this offseason and i'm not going to decide its the end of the world before the league year even opens.

The signs we hope that Hurney is leaving but there has been nothing to confirm this unfortunately. Your right Padden isn't taking that assistant GM job but he is another unqualified guy that is going to take time to learn the ropes. Again, not one good experienced person in the building that I can think of at this point is not a good recipe for trust. What's the master plan on not bringing in qualified and successful people to help the new guys get better faster?

The media goofs just show that he isn't prepared to be an on hands owner and yet he is going full steam ahead. How about hire a PR guy and pretend your customers care? Gettleman didn't handle the Smith thing well and you think Tepper would get a pass if he craps the bed? Yes he is learning but his disregard and lack of care isn't creating trust and is a concern.

I have stated consistently that the first year was a mulligan and he still brought the wonder twins back last year, that is all on him. No passes there. I just have to disagree with you there. He has laid out a vague vision which is what most of us are discussing. If his vision is a hands on owner that knows little and dictates a lot, then he is meddling and will end up closer to Jones and Snyder. If he has hired a great HC and will find a great GM, then he has a chance. If he keeps Hurney that is a sign he doesn't know what one is. Why he hasn't already is concerning. The fact he was trying to make Berry the assistant and keep Hurney is concerning. He is meddling if he doesn't know what he is doing but doing it anyways. He could have hired qualified people and let them do the lifting. He isn't and he hasn't yet shown he is very good at being an owner yet.

He is going to make money hand over fist anyways. Even if he did move in 10 years, he would still be making money. He bought the team because he is married to making money and not to the Carolinas. I don't want to see the team move but if the PSL system was to fail then it would be a concern. 3 losing years in a row would be a new test for all of that.

I have been a fan of this team since the beginning. I have yet to know we have a good ownership or direction. We have had a lot of disappointments and a two almost great years. I hope it is Tepper but there is enough issues to be concerned. As I have stated I will wait till after the draft to confirm what the first part of this vision is and what it means. I hope he turns it around but there are enough legitimate concerns out there to keep watching and discussing. It wouldn't be the end of the world if the worst came to be true, it would just be more crappy football that I don't want to pay for.

It is his team and he can do as he wants

as season ticket holders, we also have a choice

no one makes us participate

I’m just very concerned about the lack of nfl experience in the building

building a college program with 18 year olds is a lot different than grown men

it is true that Walsh and Johnson came from college. There maybe one other college coach who succeeded but most were spotty.

unfortunately for me I can’t wait on this rebuild and I certainly can’t pay more for season tickets in a new stadium. I’ll leave this for the younger ones

That's the point, you gave Richardson 23 with all that crap going on, why does Tepper get literally 1 season with his own guys. How does "Marty Hurney is a great talent evaluator and we don't want to lose that,' amount to we are keeping Marty long term? If we fired Ron&Marty in December, either Tepper would've had to draft or hire someone under Marty Hurney. Honestly, Marty drafted Julius Peppers, Cam Newton, Luke Kuechly, Gross, Steve Smith(not a 1st round pick), Jonathan Stewart,  and DJ Moore just completed a top 10 season. Donte Jackson in my opinion has talent and had a bad year, people forget he was only 23 last year... young people are stupid.

I have no problem with you disagreeing with me, I am on here because I love debating sports. What I had a problem with, is the fact that you thought it was ok to not only call me stupid, but make a comment that referred to me as pretty much retarded. You don't even know me, I am a senior at Clemson University; people who are "not the sharpest knife" don't get into Universities with 50% acceptance rates and essentially make it to graduation. I have a relative who killed himself for a similar post sent to them online, it happens everyday, you truly do not know who is on the other side of the screen. You can call my posts stupid all day, I frankly don't care, but you calling me as a human being retarded is a terrible move. I did take my own advice, when did I try to "kindly" tell you that you were retarded? I called you an A$$hole, that was 100% true, I have disabled relatives, I know how people have made them feel and have heard that comment be used to refer to them. If you are ok with what you said after a second reading, I will take your advice of not quoting you. No matter how stupid or juvenile you feel someone is, there is no excuse for you to make that comment. I have disagreements with people on here, but nobody else has tried to call anybody else retarded; full of themselves? Yes, but not retarded.

Tough to debate in this paragraph format hahaha but the one thing I will say is the big issue where I think we disagree is you think he doesnt know what hes doing and doing it anyways and I'd argue he has laid out a pretty clear vision and has followed along pertty well.  I've debated that in the past though I'm just suprised that people can listen to what he said after Ron left and be shocked at the direction we have gone.  That may just be me though.

My big point is that tons have teams have been in this exact position in the past, its tough to move on I get it.  A new owner can change how he wants the Franchise to operate without it being meddling and while fans may not be happy with the direction hes moving it doesnt mean its wrong or an end of the world scenario.  We've lost three straight seasons in the past and fans have returned, we've processed out vets before and fans have returned, heck two years after we booted Smith fans on here loved Gettleman because of the Super Bowl run.  Things change quick in the NFL.

Point is there is all this speculation and things are in the air but i can promise everyone this, we will know the direction of this franchise for these next seven years come May 2020. Not the 2020 season, but we will see the decision making unfold. Whether it be coaching, personnel decisions in front office and on the team. No one knows what Rhule is going to want. It has to play out. Hopefully a franchise tackle rises during the combine.
