You're going to give the new owner one season (the past two were with Richardson's regime)after supporting a team where those things were going behind the scenes? That is what I meant by it; those nasty things didn't go away overnight. Tepper stated himself that was a factor in Ron giving Ron 2019, he needed time to be able to fix those things. Tepper could make a mistake on his first hire and 5 years from now nail his second one. The man votes with his wallet, that helps in a league driven by money.  Ultimately, what was said. I'm giving Tepper 1 year before I lose trust in him after firing the regime of the type of owner I replied to you...

This is honestly all that was worth quoting. Heed these words, and try taking your own advice before insinuating I somehow condone Richardson's bullshit or think he was a better owner because I don't want us to continue sucking for several more years.

I said I will give Tepper one year, as in one year before I begin assessing the trajectory of our franchise, and if they are moving in the right direction.That certainly won't be the case if Marty Hurney is still the GM by then. If Newton is gone we need to be on the path to our next quarterback as soon as possible. That is the highest priority. So yes if by 2021 we don't look like we are progressing I am going to have concerns. If you don't like that, don't quote me then.

That's the point, you gave Richardson 23 with all that crap going on, why does Tepper get literally 1 season with his own guys. How does "Marty Hurney is a great talent evaluator and we don't want to lose that,' amount to we are keeping Marty long term? If we fired Ron&Marty in December, either Tepper would've had to draft or hire someone under Marty Hurney. Honestly, Marty drafted Julius Peppers, Cam Newton, Luke Kuechly, Gross, Steve Smith(not a 1st round pick), Jonathan Stewart,  and DJ Moore just completed a top 10 season. Donte Jackson in my opinion has talent and had a bad year, people forget he was only 23 last year... young people are stupid.

Meh. He spent the big bucks and we all cried for Jerry's head on a platter. Now, well, he gets to run the team however he wants and for whatever results that happen.

The fan base can scream for a coach to be fired and it happen (it did here). The fan base can scream for the firing of a GM, and that could conceivably happen. 

You can't scream for an owner to be canned because your team sucks. It doesn't work that way. It requires a scandal or the owner die with no heir.

Buckle up folks, Tepper is driving, for better or worse.

Of course Tepper can do what he wants as an owner, being a meddler just tells the fans it's all a joke and he is going to run the team into the ground. This issue is basically a lipness test for if PSLs and wasting cash at games are worth it anymore.

I don't  know, it's still too early but it matters. Enough people bail and the likelyhood the team moves increases.

People may bail but they'll show back up whenever we start looking remotely good again.  The story of every Franchise in transition, we arent the first franchise to do it and we wont be the last.
