Opinions on Becton, Verge?

I'd be curious to this as well @Verge, from both you and your friend. The more I read about him, the more I like the kid, and wouldn't be opposed to him in the first. Would be even better if we could somehow trade down, get more picks, and still land him.

And I’m not sure where to rank Noah Igbinoghene. Tremendous athlete who really came on in 2nd half of season but he’s only played CB for two years. He will require some patients, but could be Elite if coached right.

Kiper has Igbinoghene as a 1st rounder.

Yeah, not sure I agree either, but his athleticism (college track sprinter speed) and his upside are through the roof.  He's also got experience returning kicks and, if memory serves, took at least 2 to the house in his college career.

Conversely, the NFL is the big boys and, as you pointed out he doesn't have a lot of experience at the CB position, so his downside could be deeper than your basement.

I don't know for sure, could probably go either way depending on what kind of presence you are looking for, I definitely have Brown with the higher grade but it's for sure pretty close.

If you're looking for a guy that you can play across the line, from 0-to-6-tech, in various formations, you take Brown.

If all you're looking for is a 0 or 3-tech, its pretty close between Brown and Kinlaw.

One thing we know is he had to play man coverage. I underestimated Carlton Davis and Jamal Dean and both are playing good, so I’m waiting to see how he plays out. But Steele’s defense allows for an easier transition it seems.

Yeah, Auburn CBs under Kevin Steele are definitely not "zone-coverage" CBs.  They come into the league comfortable with bump-and-run.

I obviously like his physical tangibles, but his tape kind of leaves something to be desired, especially considering his very limited passing snaps. Definitely a first round guy, but you could be setting yourself up for failure if he doesn't learn the finer workings of pass blocking.

Just watched every snap against Notre Dame and Clemson. I can see where you're coming from, but I don't think that's so much on him, but on his OC and OL Coach. They were doing some pretty stupid line shifts, flipped him from left side to right a lot, and had me questioning if they knew how to football. That said, I liked his punch, and once he locked on, the other guy was pretty much done. There were a few whiffs throughout the game, but nothing terribly glaring, and I really liked how he kept his feet moving, center bent, and didn't lunge or overextend too much. However, for the parts I didn't like, he looked lost quite a few times, and also locked onto his assignment too much. Once his guy was out of the picture, he just stopped and wasn't looking around for someone else to block - so might be some discipline and technique issues, along with what appears to possibly be a missing mean streak.

Those can be fixed through good coaching, which is something he seems to have not gotten too much of at Louisville. (Before anyone jumps my poo, I admit, it's only two games and maybe they were trying to get creative? I dunno, but it didn't seem to work too well, though, against Clemson). By the way, the rest of that OL was pretty much straight trash, with really only the center having any shining moments here and there. I think it's worth digging a little more into the tape, and seeing what the kid can actually do. It's too bad there's no tape on him like at the senior bowl. Would like to see what he can do with someone else decent besides him on that OL.

We met with Jeudy but u think Ruggs instead?

Some of the stars got moved around when I was swapping players. I don't really think we should take a WR at 7 though, but I could definitely be wrong on that.
