Verge, a couple of DL prospects...have you looked at

DT Leki Fotu...he seems to be moving down on media big boards.

and

Nick Coe at Auburn....I'm seeing him on some boards being available in the 5th...and he's at a position of need for the Panthers.

Not Verge, but to put it in simple terms....Nick Coe needs to get his poo together.

Before the season, I, and many AU fans would have given Coe a legit shot to go before Brown. And certainly Davidson. Great frame, wrestling background, superior effort, and flashes that had scouts giving him 1st round grades.

Now, he wasted a “prime” opportunity to play 3tech in between those other two and just decided he didn’t care anymore. He became invisible. Who knows why?

I’d bet a 5th he can get near that first guy. But so don’t get to interview him. He has some explaining to do at the combine.

I see Thomas has fallen behind Wills and Wirfs.  This jives with some other Big Boards I've seen as well.   Solid LT, but not a generational-type and maybe not even the day 1 starter.  Wirfs would do better to move inside.  Dude is a mauler but has heavy feet and poor footwork.  Wills is a day 1 RT, but who takes RTs in the top 10?  This is why, despite needing a franchise LT, I moved on from these guys early on.  I'd rather shore up a couple of other areas of need and take a promising OT project in the 3rd or 4th round.

Verge, will we get an updated top 50 after the combine? Also send us all the rumors you hear from your friend at the combine as well. Thanks man! You are the best on this board.

Yep, I will work on another one after the combine and more tape watching :)

It gets better. Watch FL, LSU, GA, and Bama. I usually hold back on Auburn prospects because I see all the bad too and tend to underrate them. But Brown is as legit as I’ve seen. Reminds me of Mean Joe Greene.

He sacked Joe Burrow with a RG. Seriously.

My favorite Derrick Brown "WTF?" moment.

I was at this game and was concentrating on the play from the QB at the snap, saw then pass, and then... WTF

Wait?

Was that Derrick Brown?

Do we have another #5?

WTF WAS DERRICK BROWN DOING OUT THERE?

From what I read in an Athletic article, he left the field for a break. However his backup didn't an equipment issue so he went back to the field really late and made a monster tackle.

You can see #1 right at the bottom of the start of the video running off and that’s when Brown runs back on.

Yeah, thank for the info.

Understood that after reading about it later, but being there present and in-person AS IT HAPPENED was a moment of confusion, lol.
