Hope this is okay in the main forum, I have been studying a lot of these guys in my free time and feel like I have a pretty good grasp. This is post senior bowl-pre NFL combine I will put a star next to a player that seem like a realistic possibility for the Panthers. 37 players have first round grades from me.

Great post as usual.

I would love to see you break down the top 15 by tiers.  I think the average fan tends to think in a linear order whereas teams group players more in tiers.

For example something like:

Young >>>Brown, Okuda, Kinlaw, Simmons>>Willis, Wirfs, Juedy

Maybe you stay put if a tier 2 guy is still on the board but if not you trade down.

Pretty sure if Mims is still sitting there in the 3rd our new coach and his old coach won't be able to resist.  I'm cool with that.  We need 3 solid WRs for Brady's offense.  I really hope Brown drops to 7 in the first.  He has a chance to be a special DT.

Also agree that Okudah is ranked 3rd.  I feel he is the least likely bust candidate in this draft (although I know nothing)

Brown as the second best player in the entire draft?

His game against Oregon was insane and the dude is simply a monster.  Reminded me a bit of when Star w/Utah went ham against USC back in the day.  He is just a relentless machine with that presence on the field.  Apparently was the guy leading the team at Auburn.  It makes sense why.

I admit I've been hoping for an offensive tackle but if the best player available is on the other side, I'm on board with it.

It gets better. Watch FL, LSU, GA, and Bama. I usually hold back on Auburn prospects because I see all the bad too and tend to underrate them. But Brown is as legit as I’ve seen. Reminds me of Mean Joe Greene.

He sacked Joe Burrow with a RG. Seriously.

    • The other draft picks have turned out pretty well. Brooks will too.
    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
