Don't know that I buy it but that guy is sure as hell pushing it on his Twitter. he mentions it something like half a dozen times.

It's a natural topic of speculation given the connection between Brady and Burrow. I just have a hard time seeing it happening. And I'd need a more reputable source than this guy to start believing it.

Yeah im sure Cincinnati prefers a 31 year old Cam Newton coming off another major surgery over the best QB in college football Burrow.

Not projecting, this has been going on with them for years now, they've been in the same position before winning the lottery but nobody wants to stay there (losing culture) the time is constantly ticking on the possibility of success. I don't know that it's about that, but as mentioned earlier it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with Newton's contract status. People assume that, but it's not guaranteed.

Heck, everyone is searching so deeply for clues these days that if Newton posted a picture wearing a powder blue and yellow shirt, people would probably conclude that it means he's going to the Chargers.

You may not like the underlying premise---but you have to admit that this is the most interesting off season we have had.  Part of the fun of being a fan is trying to sneak a peak or predict the unknown.  ("you" used in the impersonal form)
