I'm sure the pick 6 after the one play TD pass by one of the top 2 receivers against the game with a rookie corner had nothing to do with how the rest of that game went. 2 Drives in a row the offense got Zero and gave the Steelers the ball back down 14-7 after going 3 and out. I remember well, I was at that horrible display of football.

Big Ben went 22/25 with 328 yards and 5 TDs. That's on the defense bro.

And How did our offense do? It's not like we helped the defense out by going three and out 80% of the 1st half. Dude, the defense was on and off the field in the cold all night, I don't even want to think about our TOP. The defense might play better if the offense puts the ball back up their ass and goes up 14-7. Football is a game of momentum, the Steelers adjusted and we didn't do poo... The only time we scored was a lucky pass to McCaffery for a easy TD to make it 24-14.

Don't get me wrong, the defense played like poo that night. But don't pretend we lost some 62-54 shootout with a heroic performance from Cam. I expect big mistakes from young corners, I don't expect a pick six on the road in primetime.

Dude stop. If you were at that game and came away with anything other than our defense just got their ish pushed in, then I don't know what to say. They bombed on us ALL NIGHT LONG.

If you think Cam played bad, then ok. 23/29 198 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT isn't great. But it doesn't lead to 52 points on the board.

I had the same feeling as everyone else. What the hell was wrong with Cam? Everyone with half a brain knew the NFL would catch up to the fact that we were only throwing dink and dunk passes.

Christian McCaffery Scored 3 touchdowns, If I remember correctly, 45 of Cam's passing yards were just from a CMC pass he caught 40 yards from the endzone.

I didn't leave that game wondering if only our defense was able to get some stops... It was 24-7 before we scored another point. You also conveniently left out a Cam fumble, that is 2 turnovers on just the QB... If you don't think your offense throwing a pick 6 and going three and out and giving the ball back to a pumped up offense, didn't make a difference, you're mad. The defense even held them to a FG at one point, but the damage was already done.

Signed up October 19th. Interesting timing.

Let me guess. You were all aboard the Kyle Allen hype bandwagon before it came crashing back down?

Ok Poirot.

Let me guess. You decided you hated him before you even saw him play?

I like Cam and I respect the fact that he supported Kyle last season. Makes him a better team man than plenty of so-called Panthers fans.

If you want to come at me you might want to know what you're talking about. I supported Allen pretty big. At one point I agreed he earned the right to continue starting and possibly be the guy in the future. Unfortunately we know what happened. It should be a learning experience for all fans involved not to get caught up in only a few starts. The wheels fell off for a number of reasons. But largely the biggest reason was his interceptions and constant fumbling. He isn't the guy, we need to keep looking and not get caught up in feel good stories. Ultimately the harsh truth of the world is nobody cares how nice somebody is, if you aren't winning it doesn't matter. If someone like Cam Newton is continually treated the way he is by this fanbase despite spending the majority of his career somersaulting over end zones with reckless abandon and giving away touchdown footballs to kids for the likes of neanderthals across this fanbase to continually poo on him on his way out the door despite anything else he's ever done in his career then you can spare me the tiny violins.

Sport is much more fun to follow when you don't take everything so personally. Cam is a millionaire, we don't need to pity him. Despite your egregious cheerleading on his behalf, it is highly doubtful that he cries himself to sleep every night worrying about the fans.

What I find amusing is that many supposed fans are such dedicated Cam fan-boys that their concern that he may be replaced, manifested into a hatred of Kyle Allen (a mere placeholder, who was never going to be given the job)  a UDFA who hadn't seen first team reps at training camp, who was good then bad, yet some seem to resent him because he wasn't able to lead us to a Superbowl. That's insanity.

I need someone to explain to me why we should be upset with Kyle Allen for not being able to overcome the same problems that a much more talented former number 1 pick hasn't been able to overcome.

Who cares, why are you all so focused on one player? I want to see the Panthers build a team and blueprint successful in the long run. poo doesn’t happen overnight. Players come and go and there are plenty of franchise QBs to be had coming out a competent FO can go and get a build a team.
