Not quit the same injuries or severity don't you think?

He’s had a long history of “wear and tear.”

He’s also older. Your point is well taken. All injuries are different. Just saying, it’s not impossible to recover at Cam’s age.

Thank Olsen and TD for that

Some of ya'll need to decide if you want to attack players and be a mouthpiece for billionaires, or actually look at who makes the decisions. Hint: it isn't those two guys.

You guys would have like minded company in curmudgeons like Bob McNair.

No it's not but it is rare.  And as you can see recovery does not prevent further injury or the complications that arise from them, like chronic soreness and arthritis which comes with age.  You are never the same after an injury.  Shoulders are not the same as fingers. Shoulder separation is not the same as a tear and the lingering problems are much different. Just saying.

2017 Cam dragged this franchise to the playoffs and should have beaten the Saints in New Orleans in the playoffs were not for a bunch of fuggery

2018 Cam was outpacing his MVP season until TJ Watt took his shoulder out

The whole "2015 was a looooong time ago" mindset is just lazy and disingenuous.

It's not disingenuous though. Cam got hurt in 2016 and had the worst year of his career due to the shoulder injury. Cam came back in 2017 and had a real up and down year due to his limited availability to practice throughout the week trying to play with a recovering shoulder. Also no long ball capabilities all year.

2018, still no long ball but having one of his most efficient seasons ever with CMC as an option to throw to. Wheels fall of for the second time in 3 years after his shoulder is re-aggravated midway through the season. Cam can't even throw the ball 10 yards and defenses know it. Cam is eventually benched the last 2 games to rest. 2019, Cam has another surgery to fix his shoulder before the season. Doesn't throw much before the season and was on another pitch count. Cam then breaks his foot and misses all but 2 games in 2019 looking like a shell of his old self in the process. Another surgery is had in the offseason.

2015 was a very long time ago man.

Yeah well Ben is known for some questionable off the field behavior that Newton would never in a million years get a pass for. But keep telling yourself you're completely in tune with the world and how different things are because you say so.
