I'm more interested in the embarrassing part that you eluded to.

And no, I don't give two shits about players talking to each other, this isn't the NBA, the teams still hold the power here, and will for the foreseeable future.

One word. Dysfunctional.

Oh come come now. Contracts in the NFL are only getting crazier and crazier. Mahomes contract could approach 200 million. Players at marquee positions be wielding more power in the coming years unless contract values suddenly change. You should begin accepting that now.

What part is embarrassing?

Of course the fuging team is dysfunctional, we have a new owner and an entirely new coaching staff, no poo.  Now where is the embarrassing stuff?

What the hell do contract prices have to do with our ability to have a "franchise QB" hesitate to consider this franchise?  Explain that please.

But I'm getting some iffy vibes from you after your NBA remarks so I think we'll just agree to disagree bud.

Not sure what the hell that means...the players in the NFLl have very little power vs. MLB and NBA, that's nothing new, and not something that is about to change.

Nothing iffy about a fact.

If I have to explain to you what part of this is embarrassing I don't think we have anything to discuss. Based on your tone it seems you are very upset about my choice of words, that's fine. It's my opinion. You don't have to love it.

I'm honestly wondering what part of this you are calling embarrassing enough to drive off future employees of the Carolina Panthers?

I see some unfortunate stuff, but nothing embarrassing, as you called it.

Would you rather Tepper come out and say that Cam is our QB moving forward, no questions asked, he will be our starter....only to see him traded in a draft day swap?

From what I can see Tepper, Hurney and Rhule have said nothing but, "we shall see", and referenced his health or lack thereof.  There is a ton of blame to go around, but I see none of this as embarrassing.

Davis saying that most likely the best thing Newton can do for himself is to find another team stings, especially coming from him.

With that said, it's arguably a valid statement regarding a rebuilding team.

I don't think Davis said that .. Davis was in favor of Cam staying in Carolina surrounded with weapons.

Remember, the Panthers have the best RB in the league .. and DJ Moore is one of the top receivers .. Cam has the best right here in Carolina.

I have never seen much flip flop between the media over a matter like this. I credit that to mostly using people’s opinion as fact when it comes to this...

Its all about the attention and clicks. No one knows what gonna happen but everyone in the general public has their opinion what’s gonna happen.

Sit back and enjoy the ride

Listen it's not an enviable situation, that is clear. Is there necessarily a right or a wrong way to go about this? Yes and no. But it's been festering for some time now and we seem all too willing to allow that to continue, even adding fuel to the flames. That's where things get dicey. Again, this is all just my opinion. I want what's best for the team, and let's be real, we are going to be rebuilding our culture from scratch. The way we are going about this is not a great first step in that.

He says it at the end of the video on the previous page, and actually also said it in the interview that's quoted on page one if you see the full clip.

It's funny. I watched the video on the first page. Then watch the video on the previous page.

Two completely different opinions coming out of TD ..

How can you explain that.

The whole idea is to get the public to not know what to believe.

I'm counting the seasons in which we counted on Cam Newton to be the starting QB of the Carolina Panthers.

We have 3 winning seasons out of the 9 Cam has been here, that cannot be debated.  Now what has caused that less than ideal outcome can be debated, but it's simply not possible to say with a straight face, that with a healthy Cam that this team is "good to go".  Now had we made the playoffs every season that Cam was starting for 16, then I could agree with that, to a certain extent, but the facts remain, this team is in bad shape, and Cam is still injured.

What cannot be debated is that Cam has a winning record. With little help in the past

I also prefixed my whole comment that “if Cam is healthy” so you bringing up his is health add nothing they I haven’t already stated.
