Also of note...

Not a great year to be looking for a starting job if you're a free agent. It's definitely a buyer's market.

Tom, Drew, Dak are not going anywhere.

The rest of those guys are trash.

Rivers looked like trash last year. I'd rather stick with Allen and Grier than sign the current version of Rivers. If you're gonna suck, don't half ass it.

Agree...Rivers was so much better than I ever expected but his arm is shot.

For anyone concerned about Cams arm (I am one of these people) make no mistake that Rivers arm just fell off mid season last year. He actually started off pretty hot. By the end of the year it was just ugly

Even though he is older than Cam, he has not taken the beating Cam has---

Oh I agree. Just stating the observation. I’m not one of those “there is only Cam” fans. I love Cam. I’m not sure he can ever return to old form. But I know Rivers arm stopped working last year without injury. That’s all

I know and your point is valid--I simply extended it to the Cam debate--but any time you mention Cam on here, those still wearing their 2015 glasses go into attack mode---I was comparing your good point about Rivers to Cam because people might think--Rivers is 8 years older than Cam, so therefore, Cam should be good to go for a near decade...

I compare Cam to a Corvette that has been used for off-road racing for 9 years---Yes, the Corvette is only 9 years old and looks good on the outside, but what has it been through?

It's 7 am and this is a thread about Rivers.

Do you ever let up with this poo?

If Tom goes to say LA, I can see him and Rivers switching sides, other than that or Tampa, I'm not sure what his plan is moving forward?

I guess if NO moved on from Brees?  But I don't see that happening.  If we move on from Cam, move up and snag Tua, maybe he comes here as a transition piece to let him learn if he doesn't cost too much?

Just a strange time to be a FA QB with severely diminishing skills.  His skill set really only would work in a short passing game/game manager type role such as Brady's last handful of years, or like Brees.  That said, he may just hang em up if the right opportunity doesn't present itself.

Indy seems like the most obvious place outside of NE if Tom leaves.
