From this list  I don't see Kinlaw, Simmons or Okudah.. None of the later round DT..  Alot of CB no Safeties (Which might means Hurney doing that dumbass CB to safety thing again)..

I wish they had spoken to more Interior Olinemen.. Less edge rushers since you fuging signed 2 of them..

We could potentially have 16-18 UDFAs this year.  Positions I don't think we draft this year: QB, TE, RB, FB  or P.  So one of each of those. Probably 2 each of CBs, LBs, DEs, DTs, WRs and Gs. We actually have enough camp bodies already at OT and S.

Is that all we have met with or is there a lot more that haven't been leaked? I don't understand why we wouldn't meet with Kinlaw, Simmons, Okudah, etc. Also, I agree why no lineman? Uche reminds me a lot of Marquis Haynes, but I think it's a good chance we take him.

Usually there are a good deal more that don't get leaked.  This year is especially difficult since most Pro Days were cancelled and prospect contacts are being done online.  Probably more than ever contacts will go unreported.

I also don't think.they have to report local talent meetings.. So Kinlaw,  Highsmith and the App st LB probably have met with the team as well..

Shows all the UNCC kids... also Hurney is obsessed with local talent. If we draft someone from UNCC, App, Lenior Rhyne, UNC, etc its got Hurney written all over it.

Not all Highsmith isn't on the list and I know personally they met with him...

Carolina, if that happens and their guy(s) are gone (Brown and Simmons), should trade back--and there will be offers.

Maybe.

But IMO trading draft capital to move up and around in this draft is as risky as it has ever been due to the freeze on face-to-face evaluation due to COVID-19.

You see lots of teams wanting to jump to #7 which is not irrational. That’s a fair opinion.

I, though, see a lot of uncertainty and risk in this draft due to the situation all teams and their coaches, management, and scouting departments have been placed in.  And if there’s one thing I’ve learned about *most* NFL teams over the years is that they tend to avoid climbing out to the end of those limbs even in normal situations, much less extraordinary ones.

I def see both sides.  I would only move  back if my 2 - 3 players are gone and my next choice could be had a few slots later--such as an OT if 2-3 are still on the board.  We are basically in agreement--but I can say your point about COVID is a good one---and I think, to a degree, it plays in our favor, with a coach from the BIG 12 and SEC in the mix.
