We created a mixed positional rankings post combine, so here you go:

OL:
1. Tristan Wirfs
2. Mekhi Becton
3. Jedrick Wills
4. Andrew Thomas
5. Josh Jones

Not sure if I agree with that order.

1a. Thomas

1b. Wirfs

2. Wills

3. Becton

4. Jones

I think Wirfs has the higher ceiling but I love love love Thomas because he has been uber productive for 3 years at the tackle spot (2 LT) in the best conference in the country.  His floor is higher than wirfs but wirfs could end up better.  Just think Thomas is an incredibly safe pick him and you have a LT for 10 years type player.

Becton is still kindof an unknown.

While I can generate some really good mocks With Brown gone to the Lions/Giants, they just don't excite me as much.  Generally that leaves Okunda to us.

I really wanted a TE in round 7, but my late round guys were already gone.  I really like QB James Morgan and think under Brady, he could be a hidden gem.  He went to two small programs, neither any good.  The talent is there, he needs coaching.

I like the 1st 4 picks.. The QB pick even in the round is a waste.. But the 1st 4 and the LB look solid..

Meh, 7th rounders are complete flier picks. I wouldn't be mad taking that guy there. Would it probably be a waste of a pick? Honestly, yeah. But the reality is that the majority of 7th rounders are.

I'd rather take a flier on a special teamer or a Lineman you can develop.. Even a kicker.. A 7th round QB by any measurement usually ends up a camp arm and early cut.. Plus Grier and Kyle need the reps.. No need adding another bum to the mix.

Thank you!!!!  It floors me that people "value" certain positions in the 7th round over others.  Fact is over 90+% will wash out fairly quickly.  Remember when people thought Harrison Butker was a wasted pick in the 7th round?   Who drafts a kicker, right?  The whole notion that one position is "more valuable" over another or "less wasted" of a pick in the 7th round is complete nonsense.  It is the 7th round  after all.

The fact that the Panthers are looking at a late round/priority FA QB doesn't bode well for Allen and/or Grier.  Grier looked awful to the point as if he was new to the QB position, not just the NFL.  Maybe seeing Allen get pummeled most of the season gave Will the hibby-jibbies.  All I know is he looked worse than I even anticipated. Trust me, my expectation threshold was set low too.
