We don’t need a darn dt round one we have kk short that was injured . We can resign McCoy and get a dt in the 3/4 round . Get an offensive tackle . Draft oline back to back picks and get free agents no one is saved on this line we want competitive nature here

I'd rather have an OT like Andrew Thomas, but a DT works too. If we go with a DT, then I say draft Derrick Brown.

We played against Javon Kinlaw last season, watched him specifically. Had 3 assisted tackles & half a sack. Reminded me of Vernon Butler; big dude but not as impressive as expected.

I’d rather go with Brown than a high riser via Senior Bowl/combine. I’m sure Kinlaw is solid but Brown was discussed as a potential 1st rounder last year if he came out. Last year was chock full of DL talent so he may have realized he could go much higher this year, but at least he was in the discussion.

I don’t prefer DT or OT. I think at 7, we may have our choice made so we should be willing to go either way. I don’t want to reach for say a Becton or Jackson at OT just to take an OT of Brown isn’t there. There’s so many OTs available. There’s only 1 Brown.

If OT was our only need than maybe but I believe that we should not use our 1st pick on a LT.  There is no guarantee that a 1st round LT isn't going to struggle in his first year on the team.  We need to let Little and/or Daley show they have improved. 

Brown IMO is probably our best bet.  Along with KK our Dline should improve greatly. 

2nd round a quality center and BPA 3rd round and on.

I would assume that such a pick would mean that, in this mock, Derrick Brown was picked prior to Pick 7?

Because picking Kinlaw over Brown would just be flat-out dumb.

McCoy is not going to sign back here. The man wants to go to the playoffs once in his career and I couldn't blame him.
