I mean it makes sense. Cam has a chance to still be great. Also Rhule was high on Grier coming out of college. I’m sure he wants to see what his staff can do with this group (Cam, Allen, and Grier) then reevaluate next offseason.

Honestly, if you're not going all in on Burrow I'd rather not.

Let's see if Cam can overcome his recent injury rut. Just imagine if we'd given up on TD after his injury rut. 

I just don't like this QB class outside of Burrow and even Burrow is a one year wonder. Tua has major injury red flags and Herbert played in an offense that really didn't ask him to make NFL reads or many NFL throws. I honestly thought Fromm would've been better off to play another year of college ball.

Makes sense to me. Most logical approach you can take. If he even looks halfway decent you give him the year to prove it.

The only way the Panthers can truly fug this poo up is by giving Cam a new contract before he plays a FULL season. And with Marty running things you better believe it’s a possibility.

Yeah, I'm sure the Panthers will divulge their draft plans to the media in February. Heck, even the Panthers don't know what they will do yet. Combine and draft days will change opinions.

A lot of this will hinge on how Cams work out goes in March. The team likely told him if he was healthy and had no set backs we'd roll with him next season. But if Cam has a set back or his foot isnt fully healed by March hard telling what will happen.

I would be okay with this. Use this draft and FA to build the lines. Next year, worry about QB if it’s still a problem.
