Greg Olsen Officially Released

Greg Olsen possibly signing somewhere else shouldn't surprise anyone. Not after Ryan Kalil up and signed with the Jets out of nowhere despite a public retirement tour. This is a little different though with Greg. We cut him. He can do what he wants. At the end of the day, I don't think anyone here would turn down another possible opportunity for millions.

Goodness! Some of the comments are crazy. Every time someone leaves our team , it seems the get trashed by some. I wish Greg the best no matter what he decides. I never met him but in most cases I seen, he sounds like a down to earth genuine guy. Just because someone leaves our team doesn’t make them a bad guy

Yet they demand a winning team and a winning culture :eyeroll:

What's funny is Olsen was about the only one being totally honest about what a shitshow 2019 was and not wanting to accept losing. The same fans giving him poo here were probably the same ones rejoicing a rushing/receiving record despite winning 1 divisional matchup all year.

More than double the dead cap money than the Miami Dolphins, which have 93 million in cap space vs. our 32 million! Wow! I don't see how we can even turn this around this year. This is a full on rebuild!

If you didn't see this coming, I'm not sure what to tell you.

I was fully prepared for, and was actually welcoming a full rebuild, but the Panthers and Marty are already figuring out how to screw it up.  Just like last time we were "worst in the NFL bad".

The current brass has no clue how to actually handle a rebuild correctly.
