I think it says it all that Gettleman deep throaters are hung up on losing a kicker.

Meanwhile he's the only person in the league that was dumb enough to trade a fourth round pick for a punter.

I think it says it all that Hurney was hired back and we went right back to sucking ass and having back to back losing seasons.  Gettleman could be worse than Matt Millen and it wouldn't change the fact that Hurney sucks and we're the only organization stupid enough in the entire league to give him a job.

Only organization in the league stupid enough to give him a job twice *

Well buckle up. He is terrible at roster building and every year he is here it shows. I have no idea how long we have to lose while he does a piss poor job again before being canned again but it's statistically factual that its going to happen. By the numbers we win 23.07% of the time he is in power. That is complete garbage and if your ok with that then you get more next year so rejoice.

    • looking forward to us getting at least above 16 again. We've been there before, we'll be there again
    • Smitty probably envies a 6-5 guy and sees him taking his gifts for granted.   He had to work his butt off to play outside at 5-9.  I think perspective has a lot to do with his evaluation. TMac played on a bad team.  He was on the field a lot.  Maybe he makes an assumption when he states that TMac loafed when the ball was not coming to him. Maybe he was advised to catch his breath during those plays--conditioning, coaching, etc. could have been an influence.  Smitty can say what he sees, but not why he sees it, if that involves assessing TMac's mindset.
    • Steve Smith has a dislike of tall receivers. I feel like Smith's main purpose is to boost up small, lesser-known receivers. Every time I've heard T-Mac speak, he just seems to have that it-factor vibe. I love how natural of a catcher he is. He's going to make some fascinating plays that's for sure.
