My favorite college team is whoever is playing Notre Dame.  That mostly goes back to Beano Cook saying "no discussion of #1 can be complete without Notre Dame" when they had three losses.  I used to work with a guy that felt the same way.  Every week, about Thursday, we'd have to figure out who our favorite team was that week.

U from Indiana? The Notre Dame/ IU/ Purdue dynamic is very similar to the NCST/UNC/dook stuff that goes on here. It’s not quite as intense as the ACC rivalries but I know people up there who hate ND really, really hate them.

I'm more of a make the call type person on the blatant ones. I mean blatant hold that leads to a 40+ yard gain doesn't really equal a blatant hold on a 5 or 6 yard gain. Make the call on both and nobody gets an advantage vs. if you don't one side clearly gets more advantage out of it in this type of example.

This would be SO easy to fix. This year, President's Day is in two weeks (2/17). Next year, the Super Bowl is on 2/7, and President's Day will be 2/15. Either move President's Day or move the start of the NFL season so the Super Bowl falls on the Sunday before President's Day. It's one week.
