1k rushing/1k receiving amounted to 1 divisional win against the NFCS in 2019.

Those numbers will be going down a good bit if we are making a playoff run. The 49ers are so good because they operate like a machine. It isn't just one guy getting ran into the ground with an insane number of reps. Different players come in and do their part.

I really had not seen him that much (west coast)--but he is still the most exciting player in the NFL (he and L. Jackson and maybe Mahommes_

I remember being drunk off my ass watching his highlights after i was too drunk to play madden

I wanted Fournette #1, but CMC was my #2, and i was stoked we drafted him.

I never like drafting a RB in the first round, but CMC and Barkley are exceptions, if you ask me,

He proved me wrong and I keep getting happier about it. His improvement has been awesome from year to year. What a special playmaker. Never thought he could be an every down back but he proved that last year and this year he just went nuts. It's completely awesome

Yep. Fact is, there are a lot of top 10 busts at the “more important” positions. Especially OTs in recent history. McCaffrey is on HoF track already. That was an outstanding pick.

Be honest--how many were (WTF?) when we drafted him?   (I was).

I’m still confused as to how people watched him at Stanford and came away thinking he wouldn’t produce at a high level in the pros.  He was an absolutely animal and deserved to win the Heisman the year he broke Barry Sanders’ yardage record.  And it wasn’t like Stanford was a finesse team.  He was pounding the rock too.

It’s fitting that by far the most diverse RB in college wound up with an 1,000/1,000 NFL season and the #3 most yards from scrimmage ever.  And he’s not even 1/2 done.

calling CMC a RB is like calling an Atomic Bomb an explosive

if you have the opportunity to draft HOF Marshall Faulk ability, you do it.

I have read some crackhead on here say that RBs do not win games--then say that 5-11 proves it.  My response,"Without him, we are 0-16."

True.  If used correctly (and this was not the case with Cam imo and was not the case with CMC over the past 2 sessons) we can get 2 full contracts out of CMC.  We just need to see Scarlett and Bonnefon a bit more at RB and maybe CMC as a slot WR more.  When he is no the field, you have to have a DB on him--not a LB---and I am not sure DBs can cover him.   Running between the tackles is great, but you gotta pay the toll.

If we went 0-16 we would all be talking about who we are going to pick with the #1 overall in a year where we could use it the most to build our TEAM up after losing players like Kuechly and Olsen.

But keep celebrating going 1-5 in the NFCS.
