3) Again, anyone thinking this is going to be a good year is delusional, but this team is far from horrible.  No matter who the QB is, we will undoubtedly win enough games to keep us from getting the #1 pick in 2021...Cam, Allen or a FA pick up.  CMC notch a few close games nearly on his own.  He's not tanking for anybody regardless of who is under center.

This team as it stands today is the clear cut favorite for the #1 pick.  Who is worse?   We literally dont have enough starters for the dline or oline.  Not too mention the depth that is needed.  Our secondary is the same way.

Who thought the Bengals were going to be as bad as they were this season?  Each season takes on its own personality.  The Panthers behave sort of schizophrenic in regards to their expectations from the "outside" typically underachieving in seasons with filled with promise and seem to overachieve in seasons that are supposed to be flops.

Congrats you found one that nearly supported your attempt to cover the smart-arse remark.  Yes, the Bengals were not going to be good this season and that sentiment was widely held, but it was not generally accepted they would be THE worst team in the League.  The Dolphins, Cardinals, Redskins were the main candidates for that dubious distinction. My point was, before you tried to be cute with the one-liner, is each season is different and with/without Cam I doubt we would be the worst team in 2020 even though it appears that way to many...especially from the outside.

Why?  I have yet to see where the Bengals were picked dead last to earn the #1 pick and, as it turns out, won the Joe Burrow sweepstakes.  If Cam does not return to form, he's not going to be here in 2021.  We will be looking to the draft for 2021.  We won't be bad enough to get the #1 pick who many think will be Trevor.  

Why won't you admit you had not read the context of the prior post and thought you saw an opportunity to try to be funny or provide a 'sick burn' and it backfired.

Just say.  I.was.wrong.   it's not hard.  Everyone knew the Bengals would be one of the worst teams and the Vegas odds validates it.  Which I just showed you.  

 

With cam the panthers are going to be long odds to be good.  Without him they are the worst.

Why would I pick the Bengals for my example?  They had the worst record in the League, that's why.  If I wanted to pick just any bad team I could have, there were plenty to chose from.  The fact they ended up the worst and by nearly all accounts (every one I can find) they were not supposed to be THIS bad proves my point.  A point that has been lost to you because you never ever really bothered to grasp the conversation, but trying to troll instead.
