IF Cam plays well

IF Cam stays healthy

IF Cam get get a huge contract

Those are your odds, if you had to bet your own money....

Vegas George now with all the gaming phrases, haha.  Anyway, if we trade him, what happens to the cap?  If you keep him, can you afford all the "on paper" help you were going to purchase via FA?

Mock me for gambling phrases when you were the one that brought it up...

So you think Ian will be able to explain the play that was called from a completely new offensive playbook and play caller to Cam ( if he is the quarterback ) in the huddle like Olsen did ?

I am very excited to see what Brady can do with Ian.  Ian is much more physical than Olsen.

Add two starting caliber OL and Cam Newton and we can have an elite offense with Joe Brady at the helm. We had the 23rd ranked defense this year. KC is in the Super Bowl with the 17th.

23rd? C’mon, let’s be honest. We were 31st in points allowed and dead last after week 1. Just because teams could score on us at will and run the ball so well, shortening the game, doesn’t mean we weren’t the worst. At least Miami improved. We were terrible and lost Luke and still have a bunch of FAs. Our D Wasn’t even close to KC’s D. Yardage doesn’t count when teams could do what Ron wished he could do.

Well, they also had to contend with Allen turning the ball over like crazy. In terms of yardage, yes we were 23rd. Them's the facts.

He's a beast after the catch. I don't want to use the Gronk comparison, but dude runs HARD after the catch. As great as Olsen was, he never was much of a YAC guy.

I think getting him the ball in space will be as much fun to watch as getting the ball to CMC in space, well, a close second.  I want Ian to learn a good stiffarm

I'm cautiously optimistic. Arthritic shoulders feel great until they don't. If he can last an entire season it would be amazing for this team.

Source showing his shoulder is arthritic? Or is that your thoughts on it?

Injuries to any body part that has such a range of motion as the shoulder are likely to result in degenerative osteoarthritis.  That is a fact.  the fact that Cam is 30 years old and now has suffered at least one major foot injury as well leaves me pessimistic about his season long viability.

The most common complication of the Lisfranc injury is arthritis of the foot. Post-traumatic arthritis mimics wear-and-tear arthritis, but its course is accelerated because of an injury to the joint cartilage. Arthritis can lead to chronic pain in the injured joint. If there is a chronic pain as a result of post-traumatic arthritis, a surgical procedure called a fusion may become necessary.

Heard all kinds of stuff, does not sway my opinion of targets on the field, Olsen will be missed as a target

He will be missed for more than playing a position.  To deny that is to ignore what Cam has said about Olsen over the years.  But keep your rose colored glasses on dude.

Hypothetical:

Rumors were that Indy might give us a 1st (13th) and a 3rd for Cam.

This lets us get Brown at 7 and an OT at 13

or Simmons at 7 and Kinlaw at 13

All sorts of scenarios

You still stay w Cam on a one year deal with all the questions, knowing we will NOT be good next season?
