Imo willing to listen and consider other ideas is more important than just always agreeing. We all benefit over time from being exposed to different ideas if we’re willing to listen and consider them.

I kinda thought this as well.

The tricky part of this whole equation was if Cam would be willing to play on a one year prove-it deal. Conventional wisdom says Cam shouldn't do that, as he could stand to earn more money by either demanding an extension from Carolina or asking for a trade. But Cam seems to be defying that logic by his statements.

I don't want to get my hopes up too much until it's official, but I couldn't be happier that Cam has stated his intentions of wanting to come back.

Cam seems like the kind of dude a one year prove it deal, at this point, wouldn't bother him.

Let's put it like this.. maybe Cam says to himself,  if I'm not worth another contract after this year, I'm retired."

Valid point.

No matter what Newton says, it's still up in the air until the franchise says or does something concrete.

The word "fluid" still applies.

Cam Newton (The Franchise) - "..Absolutely, I will be back.."

He had a conversation with Rhule, Brady, and Hurney .. Cam is in the plans going forward.

I personally don't care for the people who constantly doubt what they see and hear. That is their own choice. The franchise owes them nothing more than what has already been done and said.

That doesn't shut anybody up. Cam is still going into the last year of his contract.

The only thing that shuts anybody up is an extension, which is unlikely to happen in the next few months.
