Would be really good if Rhule or Tepper would just come out and state Cam is our QB.  End all the nonsense. Shouldn’t be that hard

Leverage.

The second they made that public statement Cam and his representatives would gain the upper hand in potential extension talks... by keeping quiet, they maintain leverage and can convince a former league MVP to play out the last year of his deal.

- While the Panthers could pick up $19 million in cap room, ESPN reports the Panthers like 2021 QB Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields better than rest of 2020 QB crop.

If the Panthers keep Cam for next year I don’t see us being in a position to get either of those guys.

Calm down buddy, nothing has been confirmed. I think we can all relax if he's on the roster after the draft. Until then nothing is guaranteed.

Im happy though he seems to want to stay in Carolina. I can't imagine this franchise without him. Only reason people talk Carolina nationally is because of Cam.

*I was watching ESPN today and they had CMC on, they were disrespecting him as if they had no respect. Max said he was a Saquan Jr., the other guy said he would take Zeke Elliot over him as the best RB in the NFL. It was tough to watch CMC handled it well but they disrespected him as a player.

Yet if CMC were in Dallas or NY he'd be the best RB.

There is the bias, he had to see it right in front of his eyes and ears.

We've seen it as Panthers fans for decades.

Exactly. Just the disadvantage in playing for a smaller market. If he did this for the Cowboys he would be getting GOAT talk as rb.
