You forget the Redskins...not that that is an endorsement of quality.

Doubt it, Hurney didn't fall on the sword for Ron once more and Ron didn't seem to take that well.  I doubt Ron would seriously want to hitch his horse to that wagon again.

Want, maybe not. Need is what i am hoping for. You may be right but a man can hope.

I would not expect people in other organizations to say Hurney, or for that matter anybody in another organization, is awful.

The real test of what somebody thinks of something is whether they are willing to buy it.  Hurney was available and had no takers.  I doubt that he would have any takers this time around, either.  If they aren't willing to buy it, no matter what other words come out of their mouth, they don't think it has enough value.

That is Marty Hurney.  Nice guy, company man, but not enough upside.  Whether Tepper keeps buying is anybody's guess right now.

    • btw, mingo supposed to play tonight.  we want Cowboys to lose for more than one reason, but they are imploding and their 4th round pick is ours. Rams started rough this year, we have their second rounder, and for a while it a in the top 10 picks.  they are going the opposite direction of the Cowboys.  I do think they have Kansas City after us, so that will help
    • You go after my guy with nonsense like "I don't see quickness or explosiveness" and "I haven't seen a lot of quickness or full route tree ability that we always ignore" Then yea, I'm gonna punch back. Like I've said, if people want to draft someone else, that's totally fine, everyone has their own opinions.  But if you're going to advocate against a specific player, don't talk complete nonsense about their game like this. Even more so, don't do that when you're saying I'm the one with a bias towards him. If I was afraid of it looking like a bias pick on my part, I'd never have said I was an Arizona alumni when arguing for him, but I've admitted it from the very beginning, because I don't think my Arizona connection gives me a bias, it just means I know his game REALLY well as I've seen every snap of his college career.  So yea, you start saying the knocks on him are things that he's actually really good at, then you're going to get an earful from me with some video evidence to back it up. In the end, for me, it all falls back to how rare a player like T-Mac can be due to his size.  The smaller speedier type of WRs are exactly who you can find in later rounds and who become available as Free Agents, I can't ever get on board with taking a Hunter (as a WR) or Burden over T-Mac if all were on the board, for that reason alone, and I'd say that if he was a freaking Sun Devil, no matter how much it would hurt me to admit if it if that were the case.
