For those of you wondering about the Wind at the game...

...that hooked a field goal wide left that was kicked very well and would've gone in, yea, it was as bad as it looked. I live about 5 miles away from East Rutherford, and the wind was blowing real bad and there was crap and boxes and garbage can lids on the streets on my way home from my cousin's place (He's a Giants fan, it did get loud during the game in that place).

Yup, watching the wind bags (yes that sounds weird but I do not know their "official" name), I figured we would have to get with in a 40 yarder for a chance. The wind was swirling and changed too much. One of the wind judgers was blowing radily one way while the other was very strong the other and then they would change on a seconds notice.

wind sucks, man does it suck. so does rain, and snow, and intense heat. complain about the team not performing enough to win the game. dont blame a loss on the f**king weather, because the gmen were on the same field, in the same weather, and won. bad weather is part of football. if you guys dont like weather affecting the performance of your professional sports team, then i suggest watching billiards, or table tennis, indoor swimming, etc

Dude, shut up and go back to your Giants forum. Why are you even here anyways?

They're just commenting on the wind and how it affected the kick. No one is complaining. If anything, we're upset at our offense not getting the ball closer.

That holding on Smith was costly, turned a gain into -ten yards at the end of the run. Sometimes just one yard makes the difference between winning and losing.

Yep. I don't get why people are so quick to blame the coordinators for this game, but very few want to hold Smitty accountable for his mistake. He alone, made that FG attempt at least 5yds further than what it should have been, which easily could have made the difference between winning and losing.
