NFL is weird for all we know is we could win the Super Bowl. Who thought the 2018 shitty 49ers would turn into a big powerhouse or who would have thought the poo 7-8-1 panthers would go on a 15-1 season . Anything can happen in the nfl .too early to be negative.

Yeah, that $9.5M we payed Paradis last year really gave our qbs extra time. So one more of those and it is superb owl time!

Teams are simply not letting above average offensive linemen walk unless there is a risk factor (age, injury) or they want to be overpay (see Norwell, Andrew).

Hence there is no guarantee that throwing money here will even improve things. For every Paradis there is a Whitworth, so sure we can throw a dice, but do yourself a favor and stop pretending it is not a gamble.

Thats why its imperative to grab one of those studs in the first.  If not thomas then Wirfs (he seems like an animal)

I think having mediocre coaches like Rivera and Fox have really drained us to where we don't think anything can happen next year.    I mean that's how it was with them, never consistent really.     It's possible (though unlikely) we'll come out next year and surprise with new energt and coaches/ideas.

Not sure we go 2-14 or 1-15 yet (I wish, I'm a big contender or bust advocate) But Cam leaving inevitably will leave 21 million in cap space. We draft LT at #7 and spend the other 20 million saved on Cam on a offensive line boost, this team very well might win 7-8 games. We can't field a decent offensive line while paying Cam 13 million under market, what makes you think It's going to happen if he's making market?

I said it before and I'll say it again, Kyle Allen with a offensive line that gives 5-6 seconds to throw the ball is better then Cam Newton with 2-4. If Cam was 500k like KA, then by all means he's better, but Ron is not the one who didn't fix the offensive line, he schemed the best he could to make up for it. Sure glad we have Vernon Butler though!

If we're going to do this right, we need to trade CMC, Bengals might listen to trade involving Cam and CMC, but you never know.

Kyle Allen with 5-6 seconds to throw = 5 wins

Cam Newton with 5-6 seconds to throw = 15-1, MVP & trip to Super Bowl

And you're saying trade CMC?
