8 wins is the floor

With Cam our offense could carry us to 8 with this weak schedule and excellent draft position. Olsen was old and barely moving man, it doesnt mean anything that they parted ways, he might have 1 more year. He wasn't worth...what 8 or 10 million?

I am not certain that this means Cam is gone.  Cam has a year on a reasonable contract.  The next qb is probably going to be a rookie---(Guessing),  Keeping Cam might be the thing to do--if you only look at the GM side.   For example, if we go QB, we are not getting Burrow.  We might have a shot at Tua and Herbert---both will need some time.  Love is in the picture (Climbing a lot of boards).  So if we know the only qb we can get needs time...

Again, I hate the thought of treating Cam like that---and when over, you probably get nothing for  him---(not sure the CBA likes these picks because it makes players more expendable.)

You do at least realize the purpose of the position Curtis plays and why his yardage wasn't there this year right? Not to mention were you blind to the contested TD catches? Hes the perfect #2 WR

Is this like when you said Will Grier had a “cannon”? What prescription lens made that appear?

If we can land a definitive franchise qb at 7 I'm all for this scenerio and I see the rebuild lasting 1 year and honestly it wont be a complete rebuild, this offense has pieces.

I am not down on Herbert like others on this board.  I think he is raw, but he has the skills.  If you build the OL, sure.  Love is the darkhorse--could we drop back and grab him?  Prolly.

I meant the offense with a bottom 5 Defense could carry us to 8 as an example as in by themselves, we wont be fielding a bottom 5 defense, dont twist my words, I'll say it now on the condition we keep Cam 8 wins is the worst season we will have BET. Mark it and we can pull it up next season hopefully after we have passed the 8 win mark.
