I wear nice clothes all the time, the only time you will see me in a T shirt is at my house, or on my boat, never in public.  But that has nothing to do with how it makes me feel, it's about my business, and a certain expectation, and the fact that I'm never "off work".

So no, I'm not sure about that.

I'm just telling you that the "new unis" are all about the fans and selling merchandise, the players, while they may like them or not, will not player harder in them, get more "hype" (ed), etc....they simply won't.  Once the smoke is gone, the drum has sounded, and the kickoff is in the air, the clothes don't matter one bit.  

Again, just my opinion.

      Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
