Kobe Bryant dead in Helicopter crash

In a shocking turn of events, Lebron finds a way to make the tragedy about him in an Instagram post last night. I honestly don’t pay much attention to Lebron, he’s always seemed like a bit of a phony to me but I really don’t typically care. This post just seems so fake and kind of pisses me off in the wake of a tragedy in which children died:

”I’m Not Ready but here I go.”

...if you’re not ready, then don’t. I think he’s ready to make this about him...

”Man I sitting here trying to write something for this post but every time I try I begin crying...”

Maybe he is crying, idk, just feels like some sort of humble brag/signaling to tell us about it as if crying hinders your ability to type. He goes on talking about himself, how he talked to Kobe, how heartbroken he is. Not a whole lot about Kobe, who he was, what he meant.

”...it’s my responsibility to put this poo on my back and keep it going!! Please give me the strength from the heavens above and watch over me! I got US here!”

I honestly want to puke. This isn’t about you dude.

Well at least this might distract from you flexing on an 8 year old child last week. “I’d like to see them try that while they’re paying attention.” Big tough guy intimidating a child.

I hate people like you. You came to a Kobe Bryant thread to post something about Lebron James.smh

Fans like you deserve no right to post about sports. Like seriously grow up. How about post something positive about Kobe?

How about you post something positive about Kobe? You came to a Kobe Bryant thread to post something about me and promote your views on what “fans” should and shouldn’t post.

Waaaaaaa let me call you a wambulance.

I don’t have anything positive to post about Kobe. He played basketball. For a team I don’t follow. I didn’t know him. He wasn’t a hero to me. I didn’t follow his life. It sucks when people die young, especially children, I feel really sorry for those families. Lebron did know Kobe, and I just said about the same amount about him as Lebron did.

Oh but I didn’t meet your standards of repeating empty platitudes on an Internet forum. The situation sucks and I didn’t lose any sleep over it. Did you, or are you just virtue signaling? Did you know Kobe?

How about you get down off your high horse and fly to LA and give Kobe’s family some flowers and condolences and stop pretending anybody who matters in the situation is reading this thread on the CAROLINA huddle.

Not sure if posted yet as I dont feel like reading through everything but the fog was heavy and the pilot last reported climbing to 2k feet and a minute later they dropped 1k feet. I'm guessing instrument error, pilot error, or heli error....but they hit a mountain a minuite later it was instant impact. I grew up watching Kobe and he is one of my Idols it devastated me but it helps to know what happened now I just want to know why. RIP kobe GiGi and all the other passengers and pilot. Black Momba forever!

Some of this is inane rambling. The rest is one of the dumbest things I have read here in a long time.

I’m willing to discuss actual points if anybody has any. I just don’t accept the “You’re not allowed to talk about that” argument.

Lebron made a post about Kobe’s death. It was front page on ESPN. I didn’t put it in the limelight, I just responded to it.

I’m not going to down you or anything . People just grieve differently. We can’t in no way judge how someone grieves a situation. I know the media likes to compare Lebron and Kobe all the time but indeed they were great friends. This is past basketball. We have 9 lives lost whose family will be affected the rest of their lives. I read his post and I don’t think he made it all about him. I essence he was saying “big bro I got you”. No need to read in between the lines. On Saturday night, all he did was talk about Kobe after passing his milestone. It’s not like that man. Have a good one
