Hi. With this, I'd imagine we target a OT and LG in the FA.  Quite like picks 1-3.

1. Isaiah Simmons - LB/Defensive Everything - Clemson

2. Neville Gallimore - DT - Oklahoma

3. Thaddeus Moss - Tight End - LSU

4. Alex Highsmith - DE - Charlotte

5. Bryan Edwards - WR - South Carolina

6. Julian Blackman - S - Utah

7. DJ Wonnum - DE - South Carolina

How do you feel?  I wanna know how you feeeeeel

I think they threw a dart up against the board who would be in the draft and this is what they got...TE and WR for offense.  WOW!

Completely ignoring offensive line. Sounds right for a Rivera lead team but Rhule and Brady are going to fix the offensive line. I feel like first round will definitely be an OT

The title of the article has "Pick Locally" in it.

Also I wonder if they could cram some more ads on that website...

You're right, i never clicked the link.

It also says on page 1 of the "article"

Quote

In our first seven-round mock of the year, we had Carolina pick Auburn defensive tackle Derrick Brown at No. 7 overall. A lot has changed since then, including the sudden retirement of All-Pro linebacker Luke Kuechly. With that in mind, we took a different approach to this mock. In addition to attempting to fill the void left behind by Kuechly with the first pick, we chose local prospects whenever it was reasonable to do so.

I have no idea why they did that and hope our front office doesn't do it.

Lurker here. Can't figure how to create a post so I'll stick this here as it is mock draft related. WalterFootball.com has a 3 round

https://walterfootball.com/draft2020.php

7)  Derrick Brown, DE/DT, Auburn

38) Steven Montez, QB, Colorado

69) Ashtyn Davis, S, California

I like the Derrick Brown pick if he's available but Steven Montez in the 2nd? Being a terrible pick is one thing but the reasoning behind it is awesome...

"New Panthers owner Bobby Axelrod* has said that he wants to trade Cam Newton. If that happens, he'll obviously need a new quarterback because Kyle Allen is just a high-end backup."

*Bobby Axelrod is the billionaire manager of a hedge fund in the Showtime series Billions. So either a snarky jab of cluelessness.

Any mock that completely ignores our biggest weakness can't be taken seriously.  Even if we take another position other than OL at #7, okay, but to ignore it all together?  Who did that mock, Marty Hurney?  Oops,  Freudian slip.

Nah, Marty will address every position of need.....in order. They will all be bums, but reaching for need is what Marty does best. All the message board GMs love Marty’s drafts because all of the boxes will be neatly checked. It’s when his picks have to actually get on the field and play is when the problems arise.

I can't stand Marty's drafts personally.  Of course you address needs, but round one should be BPA, period.  Too much talent to pass up a guy because he's not at the top need position.  After round one, you start to address needs as long as there are no reaches.  Little and Grier were both reaches last year.
