I only care about even attempting to re-sign Bradberry, Boston, McCoy.

Bradberry might struggle in the system we run with not playing a bunch of zone. While McCoy will probably look to find a contender. Still it would be good to keep all three.

And the only one I might want back is McCoy

He had 5 sacks and 15 tackles playing 68% of the defensive snaps.

We were gashed vs. the run.  If he only had 10 tackles that weren't sacks, and he was in the game 2/3 of the time, that means he made less than 1 tackle per game.  He was rushing the passer and not giving that much concern about his gap responsibility.  As players get older, they have to cheat.  He was cheating the run to get the sacks--that is what the stats suggest anyhow.  How much did those 15 tackles cost us?  Were the 15 tackles (5 of which were sacks) worth the long runs through his gap?  I would say "nosireee bob!"

I don't understand the Tre Boston ranking  He wasn't as good as people here say he was i I would rather move on from him then Bradberry

I agree--he seemed to avoid making tackles at times.  He had some picks.

I am telling you folks because you are like brothers to me-ginger step brothers who struggle to find their peni (plural) in the winter.

Bradberry:  No.  He wants top money, he is a product of our system.  In the new system, he may be the next Josh Norman in Washington.  Even if he stays the same, he ain't top 5.

McCoy: No.  Had 15 tackles last year and was on the field 2/3 of the defensive snaps.  We were terrible vs. the run.  We need more.

Boston:  Maybe.  He has matured.  People forget at UNC he played 3 positions in 4 years under different coordinators.  This will be his fourth NFL coordinator.  If cheap, get him.  Boston has been trying to get paid every year for a while now---he is not worth a ton considering our circumstances.

Elliot. Yes.  He was very solid and versatile.  He would be cheap.

1)  safety demand is 1/5 of the demand for a good corner.  No way Boston is a priority.  He can be replaced and probably at half the cost he will ask for or we can take what he will ask for and get twice the player.  next. With our DL play any safety looks like an All Pro

2) Bradberry may have been off his game this year but is a top 15 corner.  If we do not resign who replaces him?  He is the top priority along with a secondary coach that forces him to go for turnovers.  New contract will help that.  You gotta pay to play and CB is a position you don't get on the cheap.

3) McCoy is a helluva guy, not a helluva player.     but as others stated earlier  he has to go.  Run D with him in the game this year was atrocious.

oof on boston   dude is fools gold and the entire league sees it except marty

23. S TRE BOSTON

Over the last three seasons, Boston has quietly been one of the best pure free safeties in the league, and he’s done it with three different teams. He’s not as versatile as other safeties on the list, as he lines up almost exclusively as a free safety, but with 11 interceptions and 16 pass breakups over the last three years, Boston is a game-changer on the back end. On the other hand, his tackling has been poor, as he’s missed 25 tackles over the last two seasons. While his tackling and lack of versatility drop his value, Boston is a perfect fit in a deep safety role for both single- and two-high safety teams.

Did they actually watch Daryl Williams play this season? LOL @ Tre Boston ranked above Bradberry. Their coming contracts will tell that story.

Tre, outside of his typical horrible angles, was easily our most consistent player in the secondary.

And yes, CBs get paid more than Safteys. Shocker.
