College has been influencing and helping the NFL evolve for years, rather than vice versa.

College has been taking over, despite the reluctance of some old schoolers.

It's changing the game and teams have to adapt or die. Apparently we are making a departure from our old school philosophy, which is to not fight the wave of change or tread water hoping to stay afloat, but get out in front and ride it.

College scheme filter in, college coaches filter up through the ranks. But at the end of the day coaches that jump directly into the drivers seat 9/10 times don’t work out.

The level of positive optimism it takes defend having half the staff as baylor coaches, is beyond any known number or word.

If Rhule hired middle school coaches form team sister of the poor, you loons would defend that too. "You see the game is evolving where players are young enough to need these coaches, Rhule is breaking the old coach model!!!11!!1!" Waaaaayyy ahead of the times, hes coaching 9d chess you hater!!!1!!!"

Taking a gamble on this is a far better thing than commiting ourselves to years more of static poo. This was a swing for the fences hire and if you believe in what he's doing or at least believe in the potential then you go all in and let him build it his way.

Well, we hired an OC who is specifically  known for having brought a pro offense to college and an old school defensive coordinator who said we wint win because of scheme but because of toughness.

Rhule's calling card is old school defense coupled with power run game, full backs, and TEs.
