Pretty much all you need to tell me to lose my interest in a 1st round prospect is that he has that Bo Jackson hip injury.

”Oh he’s got that thing that killed Bo’s career? Yeah no, hard pass. If he’s around in the third round maybe, but otherwise show me what you’ve got in a nice left tackle or maybe an elite corner, I’m good.”

There have been a lot of medical advancements in the past 30 years.

Tua had 3 first round nfl receivers to throw to and a dominant O-line. I can't trust a guy who's never been challenged to succeed.

Juedy might be the only first rounder. The WR class is so deep this year I doubt any others go round one.

I seriously doubt that but if so there will be some fuggin amazing talent early round 2.

This class is ridiculously talented.

I am not as huge a fan as most but CeeDee Lamb is definitely going first round

Pass. The hip injury was just the icing on the cake. My real concern is him holding up for a 16 game season. He couldn't stay healthy for a complete season behind Bama's OL, what makes you think he can survive an even harsher environment behind our OL. The league is the SEC on steroids.

FIFY

This is exactly what I was thinking when I saw "Tua" and "Trade up" in the thread title.

True statement.

Tua has more injuries than the last 4 Alabama QBs combined.

Broken finger, sprained knee, quad injury, tightrope surgery on both ankles and a hip surgery.

oh   my    god.  if i'd have known he broke his finger playing football my mind would've changed.

jack off please GIF

Herbert is the biggest boom or bust player in the draft. He has everything you want in a QB but has struggled in a weaker conference.

I don't mind him struggling. No one's always gonna dominate. He's been consistent over his career and has improved. That's what I'm looking at.

Even if he was the most pro ready guy, wouldn't really want him starting this year, let him sit a year and learn, maybe get some starts near the end of the year.

Next season should be about development moreso than winning.

Only QB I would be willing to trade up for is Burrow.

I just don't see Cincy trading away the opportunity to get Burrow, and if they do the price is going to be too steep for us.  We just have too many other issues to address to be trading away everything for him IMO.
