No matter the weapons and the way the league is moving towards. Games are still won in the trenches.

Scheme Scheme Scheme . That’s why you need the best coordinators if the head coach isn’t an X’s and O’s Guy. Which is why Ron Failed and will continue to fail

If Ron gets his hands on Luke, his staff’s X and O competence could go up markedly. Let’s hope Luke decides to stay here.

The chiefs aren’t as good as your making them look. Mahomes is making that line look good along with Reid schemes

True, Patriots and Brady have been doing the same for years.

There is a reason they let pro bowl OL leave when other teams are desperate for them.

This idea that you need five 1st round picks on your Oline is ridiculous.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that our line doesn't need to be improved, but all things being equal I would spend more resources on the Dline before the Oline.

I doubt one person make that big of a difference, but i could be wrong . I think Luke def stay out here it make too much sense . He still tied to the guys in the locker room

I think our o line isn’t as bad as advertised.

Little was injury ridden last year. Handled his business at times, looked overpowered at times. Sounds like a rookie learning the ropes.

LG needs help.

Paradis was horrible but also recovering from an injury. Jury is out on him...maybe with elevated play around him, he wouldn’t have looked as bad?

Turner had a down year. Sandwiched between the underwhelming new guy in Paradis and a revolving door at RT, I’m thinking it was just an off year. Guy is young and talented and I think he can bounce back in a new scheme with fresh insights in the coaching ranks.

RT needs to be Moton from day 1 and not change. He is a solid piece and he needs consistent reps out there.

If we can bring in someone like Thuney or Scherff and then draft a C to push Paradis, I don’t think the line is that bad off.

I think an OT getting drafted is wise, but I think Little, Daley and Moton are young, solid pieces that were under coached in a predictable scheme.

I may have told this before- Had a 10 minute talk with Skip Holtz and about what he does once he becomes HC. "The first thing I do is fix/focus on the OL, they control everything about the game" Kept stating a few reasons why, all where valid and made sense.

Personally Im more of a DL guy, main reason being you rotate them. Plus if your 4 DL are beating the 5 OL, its game changing. That forces the offense to adjust and if they start bring 6 to block 4, even Julio will have problem getting open thus creating other problems.

Patrick Mahomes is a Generational talent.  But he has the help keeping him upright from former #1 Overall Pick Erick Fisher at LT.

DL

Chris Jones (2nd rounder turned probowler)

Traded a 1st for probowl Edge Rusher Frank Clark.

Watching the 49ers dominate

Their DL consists of

- #2 Overall Bosa

- #7 Overall Deforest Buckner

- 1st rounder (#17) Arik Armstead

- Pro Bowl Edge rusher they traded for, Dee Ford

- #3 Overall Solomon Thomas

Their OL

-LT: Joe Staley (1st rounder)

- LG: Laken Tomlinson (1st rounder of Detroit)

-RT: Mike McGlinchey (1st rounder)

Meanwhile we were the bottom of the league on both sides of the trenches this year.

I agree with you to some point. In the playoff, teams win by running the all well and playing tough defense. However, Kansas City is a bad example. Tennessee has a better OL than Kansas City.
