If he does get into coaching I doubt it'd be this early I'm sure hes still having a hard time with the decision he made. He'll probably need some time away completely to make peace with it THEN I could see him coming back to coach

  NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports ex-Panthers MLB Luke Kuechly is "open to the idea" of coaching.

  Kuechly is done as a player but wants to "stay involved in some capacity." He could land an assistant role as soon as 2020. A leader on the field during his eight-year career, Kuechly should make an easy transition if he decides to get into coaching.

Seven months until August, and don't forget how fast he's able to process things.

Rationalize, compartmentalize -- call it whatever -- he can do it faster than ordinary mortals.

If he WANTS to coach next season, he can be ready to do just that.

Some say that if Luke Kuechly does coach, that it won't be right now because he was so emotional about his decision to retire. I beg to differ. I think now would be the perfect time for him. Yes he desires to be on the field but he can be on the field through the guys he's coaching, putting his heart and vision into them, getting them to move like he moved and see what he sees...

Maybe we'll still hear that cry on field of battle...Lukkkkkkkkke
