WHO THE fug...

the question is who the fug would want cam on a rebuilding team with a new coach and new o coordinator running a verbose offense.  a guy that has a hard time getting the plays called and getting to the line of scrimmage doesn't really fit.   who wants a qb that is probably good for 7-8 wins while playing with a bunch of guys doing on the job training while we take a couple years trying to get better draft picks than that?   cam makes 0 sense for this team, and this team makes 0 sense for cam

There is no point to trading him unless WE know he’ll never be healthy again (highly unlikely despite what a bunch of agendas here want to believe) and can keep that info away from trade partners.  Two really big unlikelihoods happening is the only scenario where trading him makes any sense at all.

What is better than pairing a rookie HC and OC with a rookie QB?  I mean why not jettison the ancient 9 year vet, former MVP, face of the franchise QB?  Its a no-brainer!  Go get Hurney another draft pick for his master plan.  He can really see it now in year 14.

You people are stupid.

For all of you making the case of a team trading for Cam why the fug wouldn’t we just keep him?

We won’t get poo in a trade. At the best we’ll get a 3rd or 4th rounder and draft someone who won’t be on the team next year.

and you get close to $20m in cap savings.

Personally I don't think this decisions is about next year, its the contract after that.

Lets say he does come back healthy this year and plays well, are you then willing to pay him $35m a year for a long term deal.

Also everyone is just assuming Cam is willing to play out the last year of his contract without an extension.  I doubt anyone here really knows what is going on behind the scenes.

If Cam isn't the long term answer and you are building for the long term then you move on and take that 20 million and put it elsewhere. That is the thinking of the team right now for better or worse.

I would agree that it appears that this is the rumblings going on around BOA at least.  I honestly have no idea what they will do.

Now throw in the drama going on in Cam's life.

The next few months might get ugly.

Replace those words with this "THEY believe"

People are so scared to lose the 1con and enterta1ner they can't even fathom other options as logical.

Guys, you can still dab in your living room on Sundays, it'll be ok. It just might not be with the Panthers on your TV.

2015 was a long time ago, gents. Those days are not returning, healthy Cam or not.

I really don't get the cut "our MVP" quarterback argument....

Manning won an MVP in 2013 who here would consider him am MVP just two years later in 2015?

2015 is five seasons ago now..... He is a long time removed from his half season MVP.

I’ve heard it said that Tepper has never believed Cam is the long term answer.
