Top Five left and right tackles 2020

There's no reason to not pick up a top T in this class with that #7 pick. It's not a sexy pick but we need to address those lines. If you want to rebuild you have to start at the trenches. You can't with if you don't win that battle in the trenches consistently, something that has been lacking here for a long time. Also Draft a C for fugs sake, Paradis is not the guy. Move GVR to C and draft a T. Then focus on the rest.

With the state of the Panthers, you can make the case for just about anyone rated in the top 10 or 15 draft picks.

QB's, yes, we need

OT's, yes, we need

LB, yes we need

CB, yes we need

DE, yes we need.

BPA will fill a need, it's certain

Luke and Cam discussions aren’t depressing so something different

I would take any of them at #7.  I might want an elite CB but having two dominant tackles next year and for years to come in Morton and who ever we draft could solidify this line and keep our QB's standing without having to worry if they can get the ball out in 2.5 seconds.

I've been preaching Center in the 2nd, there wilm be a franchise one sitting there and will go a long way for our oline. I'm gonna wait till after the combine to make my judgement on a LT, I feel they bust at a high rate, it's a plenty sexy pick if there's a high chance he works out. I do however think D. Brown has a low bust potential and if we then draft Leki in the 3rd(hoping he makes it) our run stopping issues should be a thing of the past. This will allow our lbs to shoot the gaps that are now present, our cbs won't bite so hard on PA, and we can play more cover 2 and 3 taking the pressure off our safety's especially on passing downs. Reed should never on say 3rd and 5 or more be asked to play lined up against a tight end or wr causing him to attempt and turn his hips to run with said TE or wr. This is setting him up to fail everytime.

I’m on board for the best tackle at 7, they have the best ROI, look what the Texans traded for an above average tunsil and what the hawks gave up for brown. Trent Williams also would fetch a good return if traded.

basically if little doesn’t pan out you have a backup plan, but if he does and the guy we draft does you could trade either for a good haul if needed

I been Saying Thomas for the longest and im not movin off it. Solid LT for the next 10 years, derrick brown is awesome but look at it realistically, for his position and talent you only have about 3 maybe 4 years of really good play from him then we are having the same discussions about him we use to have about Star, kk, jenkins, peppers. It usually ends up that way. Elite LTs dont fall off like that.

In the traditional world of the NFL, if you find a QB high take him.  If you are set there, then the next two things to think about are protecting the QB or getting to the QB.  LT and DE are well up on the ladder of needs for any team.  And with the Panthers, we need all 3, so we got a ways to go to be good

I think we do something similar to Buffalo Bills did, they got 4-5 starters from their 2019 draft.

They went for IDL, OT, RB, TE, DE

Benefit of taking premier OT is if we're losing Cam as some say. We may need to give more time to KA to find the pass and be more successful.
It gives CMC a break from having to run every single play.
It gives the defense more respite if we can play offense more.

Our best player is CMC we need to help him out.

We get to the qb just fine. We need some fatass DTs to clog up the run. Preferably ones who don’t fallen off the planet after getting overpaid for what they are to begin with.

oline should’ve always been the focus, hopefully this year is the year the FO shows they actually care about it.

We actually do not.  Not unless we run blitz packages which leaves your DB's w no help
