He's a free agent too, and probably cheaper than Bridgewater.

I can just imagine how well that idea would go over here, though :)

It's just crazy enough to happen.  Brady has been credited for the development of Taysom so there's that.

Ugh. Moving on from a former NFL MVP QB with injury concerns to acquire a far lesser QB with significant injury history.

Hell no to all that, please.

One of those QBs played winning football this season and another didn’t play football this season

As a QB? The man has thrown 13 total NFL passes (6/13 for 119 yards, 0 TD, and an INT)? He's a jack of all trades player and versatile roster piece, but he's not a QB.

True, they went 5-1 with Bridgewater but they were 1-1 against playoff teams. Let's be honest, he was a lesser version of Kyle Allen before the wheels fell off the Allen train. He threw 9 TDs in 6 games and 4 of them came in one game against the Bucs. This is one of the highest octane offenses in the NFL. He had a very good D to lean on in New Orleans, it's highly doubtful he'll have that here.

Brady might think he's ready. Hard to say.

But even if he's not, you could give him a try for a year while you use your resources to build up the tranches and other spots that need attention.

I've heard worse ideas.
