Again I wanted Fletcher Cox instead of Kuechly.. But like Hurney did you get the HOF talent...

That was a win/win Btw lol but Luke edges him out by a yard or so . This pick really the only pick i give hurney major kudos for cause he went against the grain and took his guy and it turned out great . But even then his guy retired early on us lol I’m jk but still damn ima miss Luke

Idk man i get what you saying but I’m taking a hof talent over a solid player no matter what the position is . You saying all this because we haven’t had a good LT in ages so i understand but that doesn’t mean you reach . I rather get our LT in free agency rather than trust a rookie . MLB is the quarterback of the defense . I could see if you said OLB .

I'm saying that because it's a lot harder to find a serviceable LT than it is to find a serviceable MLB. Just look at our history at MLB. Lamar Lathon, Sam Mills, Dan Morgan, Jon Beason, Luke Kuechly. Our history at LT pretty much begins and ends with Jordan Gross.

I agree LT hard to find but that’s why i don’t wanna risk the 7th overall pick on one unless you know for sure he hof worthy . I don’t think this year Corp has one . They all look like RTs to me but I’ll admit i suck at scouting lineman .  If that Tackle from Louisville is there in the second then I’m all for it he’s huge

Lathon was a 3/4 OLB.  I get your point.. But while GRoss being the only longterm OT starter doesn't mean you go crazy and take a less talented player looking for that... You don't pass on Megatron to get Jake Matthews.. Now if its Tyron Smith against Megatron.. You go Smith..

You never know for sure. Every draft pick in an inherent risk. Fear of missing is a terrible reason not to make the pick. The media tries to say every OT in the draft is better suited to playing RT and honestly, that's because they are. RT is a lot easier to play. Gross was a very good LT, but he would've been a HOF RT. You play him at LT anyway because it's the far more difficult position to find. A very good LT is more valuable than a HOF RT.

I'm never for reaching, but taking a slightly lesser talent at a far more valuable position isn't reaching IMO.

And this is where our disagreements lies..

I think Simmons is going to be rated way higher than any OT in this draft.  You think the talent level is closer..

Like I said before if the talent level is close or similar.. You go to the position value chart and your needs..

If the talent level isn't.. I'm going with the talent no matter the position..

I think Simmons is a fantastic prospect, but I'm nowhere near as smitten with him as y'all are.

After the Luke Kuechly retirement, the Panthers turn their attention to the linebacker spot and pair Shaq Thompson with another freakazoid in Simmons.

Exactly never settle . Never ever .
when it comes to relationships, life , nfl drafts . Never settle . Lol esp when you have options like we will have when the draft come up . But i doubt Simmons will still be on the board when it’s our  turn to pick . If he make it pass the lion the gaints for sure gonna take him. I can see it now

LOL @ people who think Isaiah Simmons is playing safety in today's NFL.

I don't think he's going to play safety.. But the Idea of a MLB who can cover like a safety but still big enough to stop the run in base defense and is a chess pick you can move all over the defense intrigues me.. sorry.

Did you not see Eric Reid last year?  if he can Simmons 100 percent can . Look at his film dude a freak . I thought the same thing until i actually watched him do it . I eve seen him play the slot better than his corners did .

I see virtually zero chance that Dave Gettleman doesn't pick a lineman.
