Plain and simple.. If you're debating between a HOF talent or a Solid starter.. You always go with the HOF talent no matter the position and figure the rest of this poo out...

Exactly my point . Stock up on talent figure the rest out later . Exactly why the 49ers in the Super Bowl now . They had good drafts and i remember cause every year i was like damn they had a good draft even tho they were still losing for those couple of years

True, but only because our pick is  that early i need hof . If it was mid to late round then yes Jordan gross clone would be fine . A lot of teams reach for a need i don’t want to be one of those teams  esp in the top ten

If the standards for a quality pick is a HOF bound, then damn near everyone is a bust.

Definitely not. I'll take a very good but not quite HOF QB, LT, or pass rusher over a HOF MLB, OG, etc. all day everyday.

Nah . My standard for top ten Pick is def hof and or multiple pro bowl/all pro . If all you want is a solid player for a top ten pick then everybody gonna be rich for many years .

That's your opinion.. Sooner or later talents wins out.. No matter what..

Example.. 49ers built their Dline and had a solid group before getting Bosa.. They could have gotten a  "soild" WR or a top RB to help Grappolow .. But they went with the best talent and got a beast of a Dline and piece their WR and RB group together..  Now they have a really good looking team...

So you rather have Jordan gross than Luke Kuechly ? Lol

Honestly, yeah.

We had one of the worst defenses in the NFL with Luke. So did Seattle with Bobby Wagner. I guarantee you we wouldn't have given up a league leading number of sacks with Jordan Gross playing LT.

There is a lot between a "solid player" and a HOF player. If you're saying HOF or bust in the top 10 then you're going to conclude that the vast majority of top 10 picks are busts.

I said and or multiple all pros and pro bowls if not hof . But i def want my top ten pick to be a hof isn’t that always the goal. I’m not saying hof or your a bust . I’m saying i expect  hall of fame Out of you if take you top ten . I think that should be every team mind set .

That’s crazy lol. One guy come around every year the other rarely if ever . But i respect your opinion

Read my edit. I expounded a little bit. Some positions just matter a lot more than others and positional values change over time. MLB just doesn't have the same impact in today's game that it had even a decade ago.

Idk man i get what you saying but I’m taking a hof talent over a solid player no matter what the position is . You saying all this because we haven’t had a good LT in ages so i understand but that doesn’t mean you reach . I rather get our LT in free agency rather than trust a rookie . MLB is the quarterback of the defense . I could see if you said OLB .

Again I wanted Fletcher Cox instead of Kuechly.. But like Hurney did you get the HOF talent...
