Should the Panthers go all in on Joe Burrow?

Well thanks for clearing that up - seems you are the authority on the subject.  Cam absolutely could be traded.  Perhaps a team like Miami or San Diego or Denver does not wish to roll the dice on another young QB.  What stops them from making a trade for Cam (assuming he is healthy)?  I may be in the minority around here, but I do not think a first round pick for a healthy Cam Newton is out of the question.  Didnt Jalen Ramsey just get traded for 2 firsts or something like that?

Ramsey WAS healthy with no question marks as far as I know.  Cam on the other hand may not pass a physical in March.

Yes, and he also may pass it with flying colors.  What happens then?  He didnt get his leg amputated or anything.  Its just a relatively minor Lisfranc injury, which was surgically repaired.  He should be good to go.

Only us fans have uttered the dreaded "rebuilding" phrase.  I have not heard Tepper or Rhule say that this team is completely tearing everything down and starting over.

Ya Tepper said it. 2-3 years of shittiest for 5 years of greatness or what ever he was getting at. The only thing is if 3 years suck his entire plan will jackknife on him. If year four sucks you are looking at the new shittiest team in the NFL.

Oh wait we already are and the stars are walking out the door.

If we didn't have holes everywhere and even a DECENT OL, I'd maybe be OK with it if Joe Brady really honestly feels Burrow will be a stud in the league. But we have far too many holes to draft another QB this year. We'd be shipping 2-3 picks plus Cam to move up for him, and it just wouldn't make sense to put another rookie behind this OL as it stands. That isn't mentioning our need for DBs, LBs, and DTs. WR and RB are the two positions I think we're OK with at this moment. Everything else needs improving.

Take a QB next year, maybe. QB talk revolves around Cam at this point.

you're a bad poster and we don't care about what you say

So your entire argument gets blow up about drafting.

We have a head coach who has gone what 3-26 in his first seasons coming into the nfl that is according to analytics way out of his league.

Our biggest players are going or gone and you expect us to get a mid round pick?

and when called our you have nothing to say?

right...

Tepper hasn’t used the phrase.  Not sure teams actually say that.  He has IMO said what is happening. The short term pain. The building something that will last.

I’m just saying that if you think Burrow is that franchise type QB then the draft capital you give up is worth it.

Whether Burrow is THAT guy or not well who knows. Joe Brady would have a pretty good guess though.

Sure, if you are a QB away.

But we aren’t a QB away.  We are team away
